At first I say this is the best homestay at simana & best hospitality also best dine. You can see clear view of kanchenjunga, Manebhanjan from this homestay. Must must recommended.

Some places give you a stay, but Taktsang Homestay gave us an experience that will remain in our hearts for a long time. Spending three wonderful days at this beautiful homestay on the Indo–Nepal border felt less like being a guest and more like being part of a family. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, fresh air, and the peaceful charm of village life, every moment was refreshing and memorable. The hospitality of the owners and family members was exceptional. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care made us feel at home from the very first day. The food was simply outstanding—delicious, fresh, and prepared with love. From breakfast to lunch, evening snacks, and dinner, every meal was a treat. The evenings were equally enjoyable, with karaoke sessions bringing everyone together for laughter, music, and unforgettable memories. The majestic views around the property, combined with the calm and welcoming atmosphere, created the perfect escape from the busy routine of everyday life. A special appreciation for the well-organized transportation arrangements, including NJP pickup and drop, along with local sightseeing (Mirik, Ghoom, Darjeeling, Nepal Bazar, and many) support, which made the entire trip smooth and hassle-free. If you are looking for a place where nature, comfort, hospitality, and authentic local experiences come together, Taktsang Homestay is truly a hidden gem. We arrived as guests and left with beautiful memories and new friendships. We had an amazing one night stay at the homestay. The food was delicious and everything was looked after incredibly well. They can arrange a parking spot for a 4 wheeler, which is an added bonus imo. Recommended to everyone reading this !

A truly wonderful homestay with stunning scenic beauty. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and everything is maintained with great cleanliness. It genuinely feels like a home away from home. The owner is extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more special.

Taktsang is truly a tigers nest. A lovely homestay to stay and experience all seasons of the Himalayas. Loved the overall ambience and feel of the place. Perfect for couples, family and casual travelers. The host will make sure that you enjoy your stay over here. Delicious home cooked local meals, snacks and warm drinking water tops the list alongwith and other amenities like bed warmer etc. Easy to reach by road from Siliguri/NJP and people who like to travel by their own bike or car, parking space is available. One can also enjoy the nearby trails alongwith the host.

This trip turned out to be a very memorable one, the views from the homestay is breathtaking, food is delicious specially Momo and the barbecue chicken. Sitting by the fireplace looking at the amazing views gives and totally amazing experience to remember.

I stayed here for two days. The ambiance , food and behaviour of the staffs is very good. If you are looking a vacation in an offbeat place in the lap of mountains then Simana is one of the best option and Taktsang homestay is the best option. I'll surely recommend it.
