We stayed at AuksFarm for my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with clean and spacious bathrooms. What really stood out was the warmth and hospitality of Sushmita di and her family, they made us feel completely at home. The food was delicious, especially the Naga meal we requested, which was a highlight of our stay. We had booked all four cottages, so it felt very private and relaxed. Evenings on the porch, great food, and thoughtful touches like late-night meal arrangements made it extra special. Highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable stay with friends or family.

Auks farm was a truly refreshing escape. Waking up to breathtaking views and the calm of nature was the highlight of the stay. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, ideal for anyone looking to unwind away from the noise. The food was absolutely wonderful, homely and full of flavor. A special mention to the hosts, who made the experience even more memorable with their warmth and hospitality. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. It’s a perfect spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the hills. Highly recommended!

The place that stole my heart, the view that took my breath away, and the hospitality that touched my soul, Auks Farm Homestay is truly an unforgettable experience. Along with two of my friends, I had a wonderful stay in the cottages nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Queen of Hills, Darjeeling. Our host and the owner of the homestay, Vijaya Didi, was extremely cordial and did her best to provide us with everything we needed for a memorable stay. Beverages, snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served on time. A separate arrangement was also made for a bonfire. Everything was picture-perfect. It is a must visit place to relax in the lap of nature with friends and family.

We spent almost two weeks at Auk's Farm and had a wonderful time! This place is a little paradise and the perfect place to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet, and explore the surrounding area. Bijaya, Ashish, and the rest of the family are welcoming hosts, always open to conversation, and excellent cooks! Every day, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring Nepalese, Indian, and/or Asian cuisine. We stayed in the cozy Moho Cottage with a pleasant atmosphere. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and mountains. The surroundings of Auk's Farm are beautiful: jungle-like with many butterfly and bird species to observe. The farm itself grows its own vegetables and fruits, such as tomatoes, guavas, passion fruit, coffee beans, and more. Ashish and Bijaya were always very helpful. They helped us rent a scooter in Kalimpong, organized taxis for us, and gave us valuable tips for exploring the area. The farm is located between Darjeeling (approx. 2 hours drive) and Kalimpong (approx. 1 hour drive). Both towns are worth a visit. Other beautiful places like the pine forest and the Tinchuley tea plantation are also worth a visit (each approximately 1 hour drive). Weather permitting, these excursions offer views of the Himalayas, especially Kangchenjunga (the third highest peak). The surrounding villages with their monasteries and the drive through the back roads are also worth a visit. We had an unforgettable experience at the farm stay and can highly recommend this little paradise.

Writing about Auk’s Farm brings smile and happiness in my mind. Visited in late Aug 2025. Its quite a sprawling property in the lap of nature. You would get all amenities for a decent stay. The main attraction is the cottages with mountain-facing windows. If you are lucky enough, you can watch the mighty Kanchenjungha right from your bed. The aesthetics of the rooms is what attracted me. Wooden/thatched walls with mud coating gave a very pleasent experience. The presence of large variety of flowers was also a reason to bring cheers and smile. The food tasted very well. We believe the veggies were all locally grown and were cooked in limited oil. It was tasty as well as healthy at the same time. Looking forward to visit again and enjoy the calmness.

We met Ashish & Bijaya here at farm and we were instantly able to connect with them. This homestay is on top of mountain and this place is perfect to spend quality time in silence with nature. The views from here are picture perfect and food is finger licking. We throughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this place for all. One can quickly reach Siliguri, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Namchi, Gangtok and other neighbouring tourist places. This place is a must visit if you are travelling to Sikkim or North Bengal. Thank you AUK's Farm for making our stay so memorable.

Although they were short staffed they made sure that there was no stone unturned in giving us a great experience. The good food the bonfire, the sight seeing the clean n comfortable rooms were something of what one would call a perfect getaway especially for my sis n her fly from Gurgoan who made this trip possible. Thanks Sushmita KK ur bro n sis in law n ur Mom.. Really appreciate it... Have a great 2025...Cheers

I and Family stayed at Auks farmstay for two days. We travelled to this farmstay from Bangalore and it was worth every second!! I initially contacted Bijaya and Sushmita to understand everything about the location, farmstay , food and nearby attractions. They both helped me customize our itinerary before I travelled. They responded patiently and promptly to every one of my questions regarding other places in and around Darjeeling too. It took us about 3h to reach the farmstay from Bagdogra airport , as this is slightly secluded area you can expect a bumpy ride in the last few mins of the journey. Bijaya was kind enough to also arrange a bigger cab ( as we were 5+ luggage) for our pickup and travel on following days. We took three of their cottages for stay and must I say, the farmstay is at a scenic location. The morning views of the hills , sunrise and night sky were all spectacular. The stays had all the amenities we needed and was very well maintained. We never even once had to contact them for any issues with the rooms. The sun sets at about 5pm in those areas so we spent the evenings in their farmstay relaxing in their beautifully set gardens with the bonfire and drinking hot ginger lemon tea freshly prepared by Bijaya. One thing that I can say with confidence is about the food they served us!!! It is the definition of farm to table experience, Bijaya and Ashish were the most wonderful host who prepared scrumptious items for breakfast and dinner! The dinner was a feast, with items using their fresh produce to dishes we preferred. They also customized all the dishes to our liking and taste. Bijaya was kind enough to offer us tea whenever we asked for it be it day or night. This was the first time for my family to west Bengal and it was truly homely and satisfying experience for us. We also thank the help Jiwan who was always around for any of our needs and the driver Pravesh who took us for the travels in Soreng , Kalimpong and drop to Darjeeling. Finally Thanks to Bijaya and Ashish for your warmth and love.
