I stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. The homestay is beautiful, Owner, Mousumi is extremely polite and courteous and the food is also lip smacking . The views are outstanding, with a direct sight of Mt. Kanchenjunga from the window and balcony. Highly recommended ! Mousumi, keep up the good work.

A very peaceful and beautiful homestay nestled in the lap of the mountains. The place has such a warm, cozy vibe that it instantly feels like home. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The food is simple, fresh, and truly homely—exactly what you crave in the mountains. Loved the calm ambience, beautiful surroundings, and the overall experience. A perfect place to unwind, slow down, and enjoy the serenity of the mountains. ❤️

Had a wonderful stay at Mousumi Di’s homestay as a solo traveler. The room was spotless, comfortable, peaceful, and very well-maintained. The best part was the delicious home-cooked Bengali food—fresh, authentic, and full of homely flavours. ❤️ Mousumi Di was so warm, caring, and welcoming that I felt completely at home. She was always helpful and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The hospitality was truly heartwarming. A perfect place for solo travellers looking for a clean, safe, peaceful, and homely stay with delicious Bengali food. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it! 🌸✨

A very cozy and homely homestay. The property may not look like much frombthe outside but the rooms are really well furnished, equipped and well maintained. The host - Mousumi is an extremely welcoming and kind woman who herself loves mountains so expect to know about many hidden gems from her and of course many many stories. The property offers excellent panoramic views of the entire Sleeping Buddha. The temperature stays pleasant almost throughout the year except winters when it gets extremely cold. A perfect place for a calm getaway. Note that this is very off beat spot so expect difficulties in reaching there and of course there are no markets at a walking distance. Highly recommended for Millenials and Gen Z s alike, boomers stay away🙏.

আমরা গত 15.08-16.08.2026 এই ২din ওখানে 4 টা room নিয়ে ছিলাম, আমরা সব দিক থেকেই satisfied হায়েছি. দিদি ভীষন ভালো মানুষ, কখনো মনে হয়নি আমরা অচেনা জায়গায় ছিলাম, নিজেদের বাড়ির মতোই সময় কাটিয়ে এসছি. thank u দিদি।

It’s the perfect destination for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended for families, couples, and solo travelers seeking a peaceful mountain retreat.

Visited this homestay during our Lamahatta trip and really enjoyed the stay. The homestay is in a peaceful location surrounded by greenery, so it's a great place to relax and take a break from the city. The room was neat, cozy, and comfortable enough and very safe for women who wants to travel solo.. I was lucky enough to wake up to a clear view of Kanchenjunga from the balcony, and it was absolutely beautiful. We even spotted a wild deer near the homestay, which made the whole experience even more special. The best part was the hospitality. The host (Mousumi di) was friendly and always ready to help. We also loved the homemade food—it was fresh, simple, and very tasty. If you're someone who wants to take a break from the busy city life and just spend a few peaceful days surrounded by nature, this place is definitely worth considering. Wake up to birds chirping, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and if you're lucky, you might even get a beautiful view of Kanchenjunga or spot a wild life nearby. It's a simple, cozy homestay where the warmth of the people makes the stay even more special. I'd happily come back again soon. 🌿

লামাহাটায় এই Homestay তে থাকার অভিজ্ঞতা সত্যিই দারুণ ছিল। যারা শহরের ভিড়ভাট্টা থেকে একটু দূরে, একদম শান্ত আর নিরিবিলি পরিবেশে কয়েকটা দিন কাটাতে চান, তাদের জন্য এই জায়গাটা একদম Perfect। হোমস্টেটা খুব শান্ত একটা জায়গায়। চারপাশে শুধু সবুজ আর প্রকৃতি, তাই এখানে থাকলে মনটা এমনিতেই ভালো হয়ে যায়। বৃষ্টি হলে পুরো পরিবেশটা কুয়াশায় ঢেকে যায়, দেখতে অসাধারণ লাগে। আবার আকাশ পরিষ্কার থাকলে সামনে পুরো কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা রেঞ্জ দেখা যায়, যেটা সত্যিই এই জায়গার সবচেয়ে Exciting Point। আরও একটা জিনিস খুব ভালো লেগেছে, মাঝে মাঝেই পাশের জঙ্গল থেকে হরিণ চলে আসে। Roomগুলো খুব সুন্দর, clean আর বেশ cozy vibes দেয়। সবচেয়ে ভালো লেগেছে বড় কাঁচের জানালা। ঘরের ভেতরে বসেই বাইরের পাহাড়, সবুজ আর আবহাওয়া উপভোগ করা যায়। সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে জানালার বাইরে এমন nature দেখতে সত্যিই অন্যরকম লাগে। Wash Room খুব পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন এবং ভালোভাবে maintain করা। পুরো রুমেরই একটা Premium feel আছে। খাবারের কথাও আলাদা করে বলতে হয়। একদম ঘরোয়া বাঙালি রান্না, খুবই সুস্বাদু। প্রতিটা খাবারই ফ্রেশ ছিল আর বাড়ির খাবারের মতোই মনে হয়েছে। এখানকার service ও খুব ভালো। সবাই খুব আন্তরিক এবং সবসময় সাহায্য করার চেষ্টা করেন, তাই পুরো সময়টা খুব comfortable লেগেছে। সবকিছু মিলিয়ে এই হোমস্টেতে থাকার অভিজ্ঞতা সত্যিই মনে রাখার মতো। যদি প্রকৃতির মাঝে কয়েকটা দিন শান্তিতে কাটাতে চান, তাহলে এই জায়গাটা আমি অবশ্যই recommend করব। সুযোগ পেলে আমিও আবার এখানে যেতে চাই।

Extremely well maintained, beautiful cottage where you get wifi, amazing home cooked food, breath taking views ; Even mountain range views if you’re lucky! In middle of a forest and tiny village; Your vacation needs this. Extremely satisfied with everything about this stay! ❤️🌻

Absolutely loved our 2-day stay at this hill station homestay! The location is perfect - peaceful, with stunning valley and sunrise views right from the room/balcony. Waking up to the mountains was worth it alone.Hosts were super welcoming and helpful, made us feel right at home. Food was home-cooked, fresh, and delicious - especially the local dishes. Rooms were clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Hot water worked great even in the cold weather. If you want a quiet, authentic escape away from the crowd, highly recommend this place. We’d definitely come back again. Thank you for making our short trip so memorable!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Lodging was comfortable, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed. The food quality was excellent – we loved every meal we had here. They made our birthday celebration memorable. Super friendly staff who genuinely care about guests.
