Very very good homestay,neat and clean rooms, washrooms. Fabulous view. Very good location. The most important thing is the behaviour of the owner of the homestay is sooo humble.She is very friendly. Absolutely loved our 2-day stay at this hill station homestay! The location is perfect - peaceful, with stunning valley and sunrise views right from the room/balcony. Waking up to the mountains was worth it alone.Hosts were super welcoming and helpful, made us feel right at home. Food was home-cooked, fresh, and delicious - especially the local dishes. Rooms were clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Hot water worked great even in the cold weather. If you want a quiet, authentic escape away from the crowd, highly recommend this place. We’d definitely come back again. Thank you for making our short trip so memorable!

This place is truly awesome — the rooms are spacious, neat, and clean, making it perfect for anyone who loves staying offbeat and surrounded by nature; a big shoutout to Mousumi, the owner, who tirelessly manages everything on her own while still delivering the best experience, and to Nima aswell who helps with BBQs and bonfires makes evenings here even more magical, creating a stay that blends comfort, hospitality, and the charm of nature into an unforgettable getaway.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Lodging was comfortable, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed. The food quality was excellent – we loved every meal we had here. They made our birthday celebration memorable. Super friendly staff who genuinely care about guests.

A solo trip to Prakriti Tree homestay has been the best decision taken to spend my small vacation. As guided by Mousumi, the key person, my journey was safe and smooth. There I had sumptuous freshly home cooked meals. The bonfire was a blessing on a cold and rainy evening. I would like to come back with my entire family and family very soon.

Best homestay in lamahata. Host here is so friendly and helps you get everything you ask for. We are very satisfied staying here. Rooms are supper cozy and the dinning area is so spacious. And the best part is the Host( Mousumi).

We had a superb stay at PrakriTree Homestay, Lamahatta — truly one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve had. The location itself is surreal, surrounded by peace, greenery, and breathtaking views that instantly make you slow down and relax. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, but what really made our stay special was the incredible hospitality of Mousumi. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home. And the food — absolutely amazing — all lovingly prepared by Mousumi herself. Every meal felt personal and delicious. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll cherish for a long time. We will definitely come back and highly recommend everyone to visit this beautiful homestay. It offers a kind of warmth and authenticity that’s very hard to find anywhere else.

Nice place to stay at Lamahatta

Beautiful property nestled in a quiet Yolmo gaon, located near the lamahatta eco park, rooms are cozy, the host Mousumi is a very jovial person and helps with all demands, food was awesome in taste..loved the stay and will be back again.Bonfire was arranged and was very tasty. Not to mention it was very pocket friendly.

Had a wonderful time with my friends in a serene and peaceful location, offering stunning views of Darjeeling town and Mt. Kanchenjunga. The host was exceptionally cooperative and provided excellent food. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep for all of us. Grateful to the amazing host for the experience.
