A true hidden gem in Namchi. This heritage homestay is run by a wonderfully warm family who made us feel like part of the household from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding — homely, authentic, and full of flavor — and the family's stories about the region added so much depth to our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Sikkim experience.
The stay was too good. Specially the home cooked food curated by aunty everyday. Will visit again for sure🙏

Ten star actually.
Host was very generous and deserves 5 star rating !!
What a beautiful experience. The family running this place is so warm and literally always on their toes to help you out with anything. A part of the property is a 108-year-old heritage building which looks amazing, and they follow their traditional customs properly. They served us breakfast and lunch—totally hygienic, simple, home-cooked Sikkimese food. Most of the vegetables were picked fresh from their own garden, so it tasted super fresh and healthy (mostly boiled, local style). Plus, serving tea in those traditional Buddhist design cups and plates was such a nice touch. Highly recommended!"
Such a gem of a place in Namchi! The rooms are super clean and shiny, and the whole property feels brand new and well-maintained. The best part is the lawn out front where you can just sit, have tea, and look at the mountains. The family is incredibly sweet and treated us like their own. The home-cooked food was simple, delicious, and very hygienic. Will definitely come back here on my next Sikkim trip!"
Writing a detailed review because this place deserves it. The rooms are completely new, super well-organized, and spotless. Just one thing to keep in mind—the bathrooms are not attached to the rooms (there are 3 separate ones outside). But honestly, it wasn't an issue at all because they are brand new, fitted with advanced modern sets, and the geysers work perfectly with zero hot water issues. The host family is extremely sweet and welcoming. Lost one star just because it's slightly away from the main town center, but the peace and cleanliness easily make up for it."
Honestly, best decision to skip the main Namchi bazaar hotels and stay here. It's a bit far from the main market, but that’s exactly why it’s so peaceful and cozy. The vibe is like a small cottage with just 4-5 rooms, so you get total privacy—literally felt like my own room. The views from the property are incredible. Also, they have this beautiful front garden full of flowers and vegetables where you can just sit under the sky and clear your head with some hot tea. If you want a quiet, offbeat place to relax, just book this blindly."
My stay here became much more than just accommodation—it felt like being welcomed into a home.
During my visit to Namchi, the family included me in their daily life and traditions, which made the experience truly special. I had the opportunity to accompany them to a Buddhist teaching center for morning prayers and later visit a monastery where the community was preparing for an upcoming celebration.
Being able to participate, even in a small way, gave me a genuine sense of connection and belonging.
The warmth, kindness, and generosity of the hosts allowed me to experience the place not as a tourist, but as someone welcomed into their home and heart.
I’m deeply grateful for the memories and peaceful moments this stay gave me.🙏🌿
Had an amazing stay at Homestya! The homestay was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The hosts were warm, friendly, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Everything about this homestay is so good.

The homecooked food was very tasty.

Would definitely recommend this homestay, specially if you're travelling solo or with friends.
Traditional tamang home built in 1918. Runs by local lovely family who are very spiritual.
Must visit this place if you want peace and and homely viberation.
Rooms are quite small but clean
Food was the area where i suffered the most
we 4 family members stayed there and Upon calling the host asked for the dinner
Other three wanted nonveg and me being vegetarian they told we will prepare paneer for you.
After we arrived and sat for dinner they did not keep the promise and not made the paneer rather a small infact a very small portion of mushroom onion and green chilli which i could not even eat because of that being very spicy.
I confronted them about the same and they told we cant prepare seperate separate for different people.
So if i am vegetarian should i not get a food to eat which they already promised over call.
They charged 280 rs for a nonveg meal and 230 for a veg meal
which was very expensive in terms of the quality and quantity they provided
The next day during checkout the uncle there asked me "aap maas nahi khate?"
sir i eat or not eat that's my problem , you not providing the things you promised doesn't depend on that.
I suggest you can stay but avoid food
you can zomato here

Pakha Dhim Heritage Homestay is a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for peace and simplicity amidst nature. The rooms are clean, cozy, and comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. The homestay is run by a humble and decent family who make you feel genuinely welcome.
The property has a lovely garden and is surrounded by greenery, offering a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Since it is a homestay, it’s important not to expect hotel-style service. Instead, you get a warm, authentic experience with kind hosts and a homely environment.
A great choice for travelers who appreciate nature, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality.

friendliness I have experienced in the Eastern Himalayas so far.
