Had a wonderful stay at Smriya Homestay.. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The food was delicious and felt homely with great taste and quality. The location is peaceful and convenient, making the stay even more relaxing. What I loved the most was the affordable pricing for such excellent service and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and budget-friendly stay.

AVOID! Worst experience ever by any homestay. I have booked a room here and had made full payment to them through a website that they are well associated with over a month prior to the check in date only to find out that the homestay has cancelled my booking at the last moment. When inquired about the situation, the owner was very rude and started justifying that it is not his problem and that he did not intentionally confirm the booking. How do you not know that the rooms at your own property have been confirmed for over a month? Lastly, when questioned about the refund process, he simply shrugged it off saying it is the responsibility of the website and offered no solution. Very frustrating and very unprofessional on the part of the owner of this homestay. I do have a strong feeling that the owner will try to respond with anything to justify this situation like he has done with previous reviews but if he plans to run a small business, the least he should have is courtesy to address the problem instead of dismissing it. To all the future customers, please avoid this homestay at all costs. Save yourself from this horrible experience and book somewhere else. 0/10. Edit on owner’s response : Booking request was in fact sent on 26th Nov and full payment of the booking amount was made on 27th contrary to what the owner is claiming. As I have expected before, the owner’s response shows that he is an utterly incompetent and a dishonest person who has no respect for his business and is consumed by the 4.5 stars of his property. I pray and hope that you will learn a little bit of professionalism for the sake of your customers.
