Loved the homestay, very homely and comfy with good food and good hosts! They have cutest friendly dog who made the experience better. Clean rooms and washrooms with a pretty terrace and beautiful view.

I must suggest if u will come in kalimpong vist this homestay i assure that one day you will also suggest for visit.... I feel like my home 🏠 their caring nature impressive... Honestly saying, their behaviour and service will make you feel that you're in your home in the lap of nature. Yes, the view from the top floor is quite amazing, foods are simple and delicious like home. I'll highly recommend this place for a offbeat peaceful stay.

We had the best experience at Basera! CK uncle and his entire family was so warm and welcoming. The homestay has such an aesthetic vibe. The rooms were squeaky clean. The blankets they provided were so warm and of good quality ensuring a good night’s sleep. And the view from the room is to die for. You wake up to a valley sunrise which you absolutely don’t want to miss. The food is delicious and prepared with a lot of care. When in Kalimpong, choose Basera!

We were lucky to be the first guests of this brilliant homestay "Basera". Me and my husband had made a random trip to Kalimpong and were searching for homestays when the hostess Nikita happened to see us and told us to check their property. And glad we did. The place was new and beautifully decorated with wooden decor. We were recommended by them their best room with a beautiful view which we got a taste of by the beautiful sunrise directly from our room. The view was heavenly. As for the homestay the amenities provided were impeccable and we were taken utmost care by our gracious hostess Nikita. I would simply keep coming back to Basera just for Chettri family's and Nikita's hospitality which they bestowed on us while our stay. With homemade food and a warm family we were not far away from home. A must recommend for anyone visiting Kalimpong. This vacation will always stay very close to my heart.
