Best homestay I have ever stayed. From ambience, cleanliness, food, to their behaviour everything is just on top notch. Especially their variety of food, never experienced such hospitality from a homestay in North Bengal. They have there High speed wifi also. You can see Mt. Kanchenjunga from the homestay all day long if the weather is clear. Overall all highly recommended homestay with all the amenities you expect from a homestay in such remote area. We will visit again.

This is the second time I stayed at Yangdup Homestay, Simana Gaon, Takdah, & we will go back here repeatedly!! The reasons!!: • The hospitality & service - impeccable, to say the least! Saluja & Norbu bhai, the owners of this pretty homestay, are always there for the minustest requirement that you might have, while tending around the homestay space, beautifying it relentlessly! • The rooms & the space: Beautiful surroundings - secluded, perched on a hill slope overlooking the sleepy village & Takdah forest. The bungalow - picture perfect! The rooms - spacious, well appointed & cozy! A balcony, so gorgeous that you can spend the entire day just sitting there, overlooking the mountain ranges of South Sikkim, bang opposite, & the mighty Kangchendzongha on a day with clear sky, while you laze on the balcony sofa & sip on your Darjeeling!! Ohh they have board games too on the balcony table! • The food! - Absolutely lip smacking! Both Saluja & Norbu bhai are amazing cooks - rustling up delicacies & supplying endless black coffee for an addict like me! My maa was a bit unwell during our stay...they took extra care to prepare food for her separately! Overall, there are countless reasons that we prefer staying at Yangdup Homestay & we literally are waiting to visit there next!!

Excellent Everything outstanding.

What a beautiful homestay! The owners were really nice and sweet, the food was fresh and tasty, and the rooms were neat, clean, and very comfortable. The attached bathroom had everything we needed, and the geyser was accessible all the time. It had Wi-Fi and an inverter as well. The front porch was really cosy. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The surroundings were beautiful too. You’re right in the middle of nature, and you can hear birds all around, which makes it even more peaceful. The view of Kanchenjunga from the front of the room was stunning. Will definitely visit again and will recommend it to others as well.

If you ask me what I carried back from Yangdup Homestay at Lamhata, I’d say love, deep emotions, and a bond that will stay forever. Yangdup, the little soul of this homestay, played with my daughter. Time flew like the mountain wind, yet we returned with love, bonding, peace, and memories etched forever in our hearts. Please visit this homestay—you’ll feel at home, surrounded by love and beautiful scenic views.

This place exceeded all our expectations. First time in a homestay, and what an experience! Loved every minute there. The host, the couple, made our stay memorable.
