Mangalam homestay

It's a perfect homestay in Darjeeling. Peaceful n very well maintained... Can see whole range of Kanchanjunga from the room as well as the terrace.

We had an amazing stay. The family was incredibly hospitable from the moment we arrived. We stayed there for 8 days. On day 2 , I got hit with severe gastric pain, and the owner Ms. Sandhya ji, immediately stepped in. She got me medicine from town, made homemade remedies, and kept checking on me till I felt better. Because of her care, I was up and about soon after and could actually enjoy the rest of our stay. Truly grateful for her kindness. Nice view of Kanchenjunga from our room and terrace. Warm, clean and full of heart. Sandhya ji's husband Mr. Bhaskar was equally humble and thoughtful. He made sure all our needs were taken care of. Very well behaved and helpful. Love to the little one, enjoyed some Artsy session with her. Will come back again.

It's have very pleasant experience staying in this quaint homestay.special mention the owner family who have been extremely hospitable.we used the kitchen facilities which was clean .The room with a view of the hills was awesome.Was able to witness the kanchenjunga peaks one day when the weather was clear from our room.Sandhya ji was very helpful and cordial.Overall the experience was great 👍 Would love to visit again 😊

I recently stayed at Mangalam Homestay, Darjeeling during my family trip, and it was truly one of the best homestay experiences I had in Darjeeling. The place is away from the city noise, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. The view from the homestay is absolutely fantastic, especially when the weather is clear. The only downside is that the homestay is around 500 m downhill, so returning to Mall Road requires an uphill climb. The owner was extremely polite, welcoming, and guided us throughout our Darjeeling trip. He also helped in arranging many things, making our journey comfortable and hassle-free. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was meeting his little daughter — she was very lovely and added a special warmth to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stay, beautiful views, and genuine hospitality.

Good behavior, perfect location, having a mini homie type restaurant below, good places neart it, perfect for a tourism.

The room was very clean and comfortable. You could easily see the kenchenjunga from the room if the weather is clear. The owner is very humble and helpful. The service was also nice, You won't have any complain. The only downside was that you have to walk down some distance in order to reach and have to climb back up in return. Apart from that the stay is perfect for you.

Best home stay at near mall road....if you want a offbeat feel and also want near mall road then you must go to this homestay....they give us best service...we felt all time we are in our home, where we can access a kitchen if you carry child you can cook in this kitchen, and the including breakfast is very delicious like poha, maggie, etc they give you , every day. Their behaviour is very nice and kind. 2 : The incredible views of kanchenjunga from terrace and from bed is ossum. এক কথায় ভীষণ সুন্দর অপূর্ব। I have no word to describe about the views of the kanchenjunga from their home stay...its the best view. 3 .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mangalam Homestay, located just near Darjeeling Mall Road, and it was an amazing experience. The homestay offers an incredible view of the Kanchenjunga right from the room — waking up to that sight was truly unforgettable. The environment is peaceful, clean, and welcoming. A special mention to the owner, Ms. Sondhya – her warm and caring behavior made the stay even more comfortable. She even provided us access to a kitchen, which added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, it genuinely felt like a home away from home. Best home stay for ever...there is a mind-blowing views of kanchenjunga from this home stay's terrace and from bed also. We felt like our home all time.. and breakfast is very delicious, which was maked by Sandhya didi..and the little one sndhya didi's daughter...she is very pretty 😍. They provide us best service. You must go to this home stay if you planning for Darjeeling...its nearest mall road and rajbhavan. You feel like offbeat hill location.

Excellent Homestay In Darjeeling. 1. This homestay is very close to the mall (8 mins. walking distance). 2. Excellent Mountain view from the balcony and also from the bed(Mountain view room) You can also get a kind offbeat hill station vibe. 3. Room tariff is very economical. Please call the Owner (Sandhya didi) as early as possible to get the best price. 4. You will never feel that you are away from your home. The owner and her family members are very friendly and helpful. There is also a cutie pie(Sandhya didi's daughter) whom you will miss when you come back. 5. You can also access the Kitchen. The owner will provide you lunch and dinner with very minimal price ( Breakfast is complementary ). 6. If you travel by car; the best pickup and drop location is Mayfair Hotel. From there you have to walk only 2 mins. (You will also get there people to carry your luggage in less cost) 7. Free WiFi, 24 hrs. Hot water, Heating mattress, clean bathroom are available. Overall great experience. Must visit.
