Excellent value for money. It’s located just 10min drive from the busy, crowded town centre, yet easy to reach by cheap public transport. The property is close to the main road and many interesting sights. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable and the hosts are exceptionally humble, kind and friendly. Majestic view of mount Kanchenjunga from the rooms. Overall, a highly recommended stay. I would gladly choose this place again.

Strongly recommends to visit. View of Kanchanjunga just infront of the room was just WOW. Homemade food by Aunty was delicious. You will appreciate the traditional welcome during reaching.

I recently stayed at Hotel Yalung, just a short walk from the peaceful Dali Monastery, and it was a refreshing experience amidst the calm and charm of Darjeeling. The location is perfect if you’re looking to be slightly away from the crowded town center but still easily connected to all major attractions. The proximity to the monastery adds a serene, spiritual atmosphere to the stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with large windows offering beautiful views of the hills and valley below. The wooden interiors added a warm, homely touch, and the beds were comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was courteous and always ready to help with a smile. They guided us on local places to visit and even arranged transport when needed. The food was simple but tasty, and it felt like home-cooked meals – a definite plus in the colder weather. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with authentic local hospitality near one of Darjeeling’s spiritual landmarks, Hotel Yalung is a great choice. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

My stay at Yalung Homestay was beyond exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and top-notch hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and elegantly decorated.The most surprising thing is that they treat us like their own family.I have not found it anywhere in India's hotel and homestay. For those who are planning for the first time, I would say that once you stay at this homestay, you will feel like you are at home. Food was excellent, fresh food was served to us, every day.
