Very peaceful location, with fantastic views of the surrounding forest and the Himalayas (on a clear day). The Gumbadara monastery is very close by, and Nokdara lake is just down the hill, if one enjoys a good uphill hike on the way back. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable, and their in-house goat farm and floriculture nurseries are also quite fascinating. But the best part: the hosts. Deepesh goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable, and with his kind of hospitality, it doesn't take very long for strangers to become close friends. I highly recommend this home/farm stay to anyone seeking a tranquil stay far away from the crowded streets and markets, and don't be surprised if you end up extending your stay upon getting there.
