The Staf and the owner of the resort behaviour was very bad and the area was very risky because the people of this area they are very Rudi and very baddy that was this area is not good for us .

As per google location and actual location is too different even who guide us to reach he was also not able to guide properly .

Amazing place and delicious food ❤️ Staff behavior and services also too good👍 must visit this place😌 proper place for relaxing in holidays 😎

Best view homestay in pabung... Night view is differently delightful, day view is other gem... Guys must visit .. and their food 👌👌👌

Very disappointing experience at Pabung Homestay. We booked this property through an agent after seeing attractive room photos online, but the actual experience was completely different. We reached the property around 2 PM after a long journey with kids and senior citizens, but instead of the promised room, we were given a dirty dormitory-type room which felt more suitable for drivers or staff accommodation. The room was extremely unclean. Bedsheets and bed covers were dirty, the bathroom was slippery and unhygienic, and even the toiletries provided were expired since 2023. This kind of negligence is unacceptable for any guest stay. The worst part was the behavior of the management. My father slipped in the bathroom because of the poor condition. When we informed the staff, instead of helping, they simply told us that if we were unhappy, we could leave immediately. Such rude and insensitive behavior after a tiring journey was shocking. We had booked the stay for 2 days, but the experience became so uncomfortable that we were forced to search for another option. It honestly feels like they show a few well-maintained rooms online to attract bookings, but many guests are shifted to poor-quality rooms after arrival. Would not recommend this property for families, kids, or senior citizens. Please be careful before booking through agents or online photos alone.

It's perfect for a peaceful staycation

Stayed in October. Overhyped. View is excellent. Rooms are average. Food is bad. Service is ugly. Avoid.

Super location. Wifi connection is great as per the location. Food is 10 on 10. And the tour is really enjoyable. And the location you would like to stay more than 1 day.. I really miss the place.

Excellent place

Awesome stay and very soft spoken staff. Quality time spent. The cottages are well decorated and clean. Perfect for one/two days stay in tranquility.

Not a luxury homestay. Yet it has a feel good factor. The service staffs are very cordial and prompt. Excellent views all around. On clear days, views of mighty Kanchanjunga is amazing. Needs improvement on 1) upkeep of domestic garden. 2) Wifi connection is poor or non existent. 3) needs to install a gate at the entrance of the rooms for dog disturbances, particularly in the night. 4) Kitchen should be upgraded to serve more variety.

Despite a stunning Kanchenjunga view and a tranquil village setting, this homestay falls alarmingly short. Staff were mostly polite, but basics are neglected: geysers and kettles without power backup during long outages, no tea/coffee sachets, and shockingly poor cleanliness - dust layers, garbage behind the bed, and linens with hair. A rat in the duplex cottage suggests no pest control. Amenities are shabby: only one stained towel in a four-bedded room, watered-down “sanitizer,” and a poorly maintained barbeque area. Food was average, only the 'ghee' and 'achaar' stood out; while vegetable portions were meagre and refills required repeated reminders. Overall, the property feels mismanaged and unhygienic throughout.
