Amazing stay with great view,love to be again.its so comfortable,home away home.

Planned for 2 days and ended up with 3 days stay.. Travelled with my 2 yr baby. But the host and the owner makes it so comfortable that it really feels like home away home. This place is centre for all major sightseeing.

Sipping hot tea while looking at the beautiful mountains,the balcony of dreams ...such a beautiful property.kind and helpful staff.. delicious food .... everything is spot on !!! If you expect a vibrant hill station that excites with trekking trails, games, pools, river rafting, paragliding - then this place is definiely going to dissappoint you. Munsong does not entertain with activities. There is no foaming river brushing past the homestay, no manicured tea garden rolling out its green carpets for your gaze. Munsong lies a ₹1200 Alto ride - some 25 km away from Kalimpong Bus Stand, and feels, quite deliberately, like the middle of nowhere. That, of course, is its quiet conspiracy - its charm. Munsong has a different ambiance and a unique vibe. Along the way from Kalimpong linger the remains of cinchona plantations (remember quinine, malaria?), set up by the British with their imperial intent, now standing in a dignified silence. This is no postcard prettiness; it is something lonelier, and therefore more sincere. Norling Homestay is, in the truest sense, a homestay. No curated experiences, nothing glossy - only the quiet generosity of its hosts and the faithful comfort of slow home-cooked Pahari authentic meals. There is nothing here. Almost nothing. Except a porch - a gorgeous veranda leaning into the valley. In pitch-black evenings, when you unburden yourself - your words dissolve into wind, into wildflower scent and into an incessant sound of an unseen nearby stream, while distant lights flicker across the mountains of Sikkim. An old Bengali Band song may find its way in your mobile, heavy with memory. The place is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The room and bathroom were spotless and neatly organized. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the stay truly comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

The rooms are big, bathroom clean with hot water, comfortable beddings, lounging sofas, charging points, coffee maker, local regional organic food, RO water, marvelous views right from the bed, off beat destination, no noise pollution, fascinating birds everywhere you look, worth every penny. Nothing beats the stay and refreshing weather. Perfect for weekend getaways to staycations. Owner can arrange local conveyance also on extra charges. MUST VISIT.
