The Koyou's cottage-Homestay

A picture perfect homestay! ❤️ Rooms are clean and big. Bathrooms are also very clean. This homestay offers a mesmerizing view of mountains from its balcony. There's a beautiful garden attached with this homestay. Place is very peaceful. Foods are very tasty.❤️ Most important thing is Owner's behaviour! 😊 Thankyou for offering such a beautiful remembering stay at Munsong.

We booked this homestay for 12 heads and asked for 5 rooms since all the families were different. The owner told us that there are only three rooms and he would adjust 2 rooms in another nearby homestay. Note that this conversation had happened nearly 3months earlier to our journey date. On the day we were supposed to reach the homestay; the owner called me (we were still in the train) and said that due to some urgency those 2 rooms (in the other property) cannot be given. I confronted him that this booking was done 3months back and we are already on the way with 12 members ans this is not done. He said he is trying to arrange for another homestay with 2rooms, which he did. He called me after 30mins and said the other homestay is done with 2rooms. We were satisfied. While we were travelling to the homestay, he called me while we were on road and said that the other 2rooms that he had provisioned for us are not clean enough to stay and he is changing our entire homestay to somewhere else. We argued a lot but there was nothing we could do since we had already paid a good amount of advance (the owner used to ask for money at regular intervals as advance - this was also a problem). We had to adjust in the new homestay which was extremelt remote and the view was not as good as we expected. Everyone in the team was unhappy. The homestay owner is a fraud. A scammer. Maybe if gets booking for 1-2 rooms, he can take it forward but for big bookings, he is a fraud. He took our advance money and changed the entire homestay at the very last minute when we would be reaching. A seasoned cheater.

This is one of the best homestays I’ve ever stayed at in the hills. It offers 100% of the peace and tranquility I travel to the mountains for—so quiet and beautiful, with lovely rooms, a balcony, and a garden. On top of that, the hospitality of every family member was incredible, and the home-cooked food was absolutely delicious."

We visited Koyou's Homestay in May 16th for 2 days, but the time we spent there was truly wonderful. The family treated us like we were at our own home and perfectly showed the true meaning of a homestay. Biswa is a great person, and his wife is very sweet. We spent a beautiful evening singing together with them. Every family member was caring and warm-hearted. Riddhi and Samriddhi were very excited and loved playing on the lawn. Our stay became even more special because of the peaceful environment and the love we received from the family. Next time, I am planning to visit again during the summer vacation and stay for 15 days. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a homely, comfortable, and memorable stay.

We stayed here on 27th February, 2026. Upon arrival to the position, where the four wheeler can reach near the homestay, we observed that the host Bishwa Ji already present there to receive us. From that time to check out, he and his all family members continuously fulfilled our all demands with a big smile. The hospitality, which we got from here was outstanding. They all win our hearts. The food, the location, the decoration of the homestay, everything are perfect. I recommend all of you to please visit here atleast 1 night and feel the enjoyment. Thank you Bishwa Ji.

A beautiful homestay with a very homely vibe. The owner was extremely polite and helpful, and his family was equally warm and welcoming. The food was tasty, the view was great, and the lawn and plants made the place very peaceful. Even their dogs were very friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience and a highly recommended stay.

Such a beautiful and silent place I have ever stay.. The owner of the cottage-homestay Mr. Biswa Rai & his all family member's behaviour is very decent.. We stayed there as a family member of them..

We 3 friends stayed at this homestay for 2 nights in November and we fully enjoyed our stay. Biswa and his families hospitality was great. Food and was awsome. Most importantly the common balcony with it's magnificent view of almighty Kanchanjungha was breathtaking....

This homestay really will redefine the way homestays function because of the beautiful behaviour of Mr Koyou and his family. They take care of all the requirements of their guests with utmost concern and are always punctual about their duties. For someone who is planning for a family visit or work from mountain, this place is terrific. Their food, view from room specially the Kanchenjunga view rooms are fabulous. Plus special mention must be given to their Pet Dogs who will make your days even brighter😃😃. A must visit place if you want to enjoy amazing hospitality amidst the beauty of nature. And mind you- Their Garden is something one must explore specially if you love plants
