Had a lovely stay! Sitting in the lap of the Mighty Himalayas is a feeling beyond description. Great hospitality from the whole team! Wish to visit the place many more times to enjoy the serene beauty. Absolutely loved the place with all the odds of staying amidst a jungle.

Lamahatta Farmstay was an amazing experience. The location is beautiful with a peaceful and serene atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery and offering lovely views of the hills. The property truly feels like a real hamlet, adding to its charm. One unique highlight was the small swimming pool fed by natural stream water, which made the experience even more special. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and added to the overall cozy experience. The washrooms were thoughtfully planned, very clean, and well maintained. The services provided were unparalleled, and the hospitality exceeded expectations. The food was excellent, served in more than sufficient quantity, and the momos provided as snacks were absolutely delicious. A special mention to Chandra Kumar Sir for his incredible hospitality, support, and warm nature throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway close to nature.

As a traveler, the most rewarding experience is being close to the nature in it's raw entirety. Lamahatta farms offers you just that. A beautiful property, away from the city scape, amidst the pine forest, large trees, almost rain foresty foliage, echoing with the sounds of birds and critters is this cozy, comfy stay. It has it's own farms, animals, very friendly pets. People running this place are very welcoming, helpful, loves showing around, telling you about the place, their lives. Perfect place to soak in the raw beauty of the misty North bengal hills. Super plus points for - An indoor pool, hiking trails inside the property, curious animals, lovely home cooked meals, their 23 years+ old 4x4 vehicles. Special thanks to Mr CK, Sid and Ruben for being such generous hosts and all the people who are taking care of the guests relentlessly.

Tucked away in serenity, calm, and tranquility, Lamahatta Farms is the perfect escape if you’re feeling tired and exhausted from the chaos of brick-and-mortar life. Nestled in the lap of nature, the views are absolutely breathtaking and the surroundings deeply peaceful. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I regret not remembering the name of the didi who served us, but her warmth and hospitality truly stood out. The food was so wholesome and delicious that I only realized halfway through devouring it that I should have taken pictures! If you’re looking to reconnect with nature, this is the place to be. Just one humble request—let’s preserve its beauty and not litter.

One of the best resorts in the north. Best for both friend and family group. The area is very quiet and large and covered with greenery. You can hike here and there. The food and the service and the behaviour of the staffs is very good and polite.

**************** A perfect stay for true nature lovers and adventure seekers. The homestay is perched on the edge of a cliff with breathtaking views of the Sleeping Buddha range. At night, the distant lights of Darjeeling create a magical, surreal atmosphere. ******************* Surrounded by dense forest, the property offers complete detachment from city life — once inside, it’s just you and nature. The large property blends beautifully with the wilderness, feeling like a natural extension of the forest. ************************* Bonus: freshly cooked delicious food, extremely warm and helpful hosts, and four friendly dogs (a delight for dog lovers — my daughter loved them!). ******************************* Note: This is a truly offbeat location with nothing around except nature, so it may not suit everyone. For us, it was a hidden gem and a perfect winter retreat.

Visited Lamahatta Farms in November 2025. Stayed at the cottage for a couple of days. The cottage is wonderfully designed with a glass fronted wall, and a small balcony, opening up to vistas of Darjeeling town on one side and the majestic Kanchenjungha on the other. The property sprawls over 4 acres and is ideal for spending some quiet time, listening to bird songs, exploring nearby woods, spending time with the fur babies at the property, swimming at the pool while enjoying a view of Kanchenjungha! All staff including Manish, Durga at the property were extremely warm and welcoming! The food was exquisite serving the freshest farm produce and cooked with care. Special shout out to Siddharth for coordinating and ensuring a seamless stay! Will definitely be back!

Awesome place. Just at the lap of nature away from all crowds and noise. Beautiful view of Kanchanjhanga from the bed at least from the cottage we stayed. Very, very friendly and caring people. Must name, Sid, Manish, Pradhan jee, Durga. Food menu is regular but cooking was superb. Everything was so tasty. Most of the vegetables cooked are from their own farms organically grown. Very well maintained cottage with new lilens One feedback: They must have wifi. In today's time there can't be any excuses of not having wifi. Otherwise a real real great experience

Pathetic Hospitality & way too much arrogance of the owner. The date we travelled something around dusshain, we were badly stuck in traffic in sevoke so we reached late after 8hrs of travel from slg. When we reached and asked for our PAID snacks , he didn’t want to. He said your dinner is ready have it right now or sleep hungry we don’t care. When i complained about this attitude, The answer was very simple “ YOU CAN LEAVE THE PROPERTY RIGHT NOW.” (8:45PM) So PALS avoiddddd them, there are better and humble people out there waiting for us !!
