I recently stayed at Reli Riverside Homestay in Bidyang Valley and my overall experience was below expectations, hence a 2-star rating. The biggest highlight of this property is undoubtedly its location. It is beautifully situated right beside a river, offering a very scenic and peaceful environment. The natural beauty around the homestay is truly mesmerizing. There is also a wooden hanging bridge adjacent to the property, which adds charm to the setting. However, the condition of this bridge is quite poor—it feels weak and unsafe, which is concerning. Coming to the accommodation, the rooms are actually quite nice—spacious, clean, and equipped with attached bathrooms. The availability of a geyser in the bathroom is definitely a plus point, especially in colder weather. Food, however, was just average. One specific issue was the rice quality—the grains were very small and not up to the mark, which affected the overall dining experience. While the package includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening tiffin (at ₹1100 per head), the quality doesn’t quite justify the cost. The most disappointing aspect of the stay was the staff and service. The staff were non-responsive and lacked basic hospitality skills. There was little to no initiative from their side to assist guests or ensure a comfortable stay, which significantly impacted the experience. In summary, while the location and natural beauty are excellent, the poor service and average food quality bring down the overall experience.

Peaceful natural environment. A charming environment surrounded by mountains, forests, and rivers. An ideal place to spend time in peace.

The staff demonstrated a lack of hospitality and professionalism, resulting in a very disappointing experience. Customer service was poor, and the room conditions were far below expectations. Additionally, the team appeared untrained and uncertain in their roles. We stayed one night and planned to stay two night because of poor service we had to check out.

Good location, this was my third time there. Used to have a very excellent customer service and hospitality but this time, it seems like they don’t care about the guest anymore. Ask for the firewood 5 times, no response, people there forget to smile at the guest. Seems like they have earn more than enough that they don’t need regular guest anymore more. Very disappointed this time, will never come to this place again.

Stay at this home stay was a good experience, scenic but was excellent. Located extreme remote place beside Reli river. Hospitality and food was good. It was leisure family trip

Service of the homestay is pathetic, amenities are not even basic. Not recommended at all.....
