Misty Mountain Homestay Darjeeling

A truly filthy homestay. I appeal to all fellow tourists: please do not ever book this place. It is an extremely poor establishment, rife with filth and lack of hygiene,please don’t book this place.I appeal again and again 🙏

Very bad condition of bathroom. Service from them not upto the mark. Only view from the room is good. Don't stay. Just go outside of Darjeeling and you will get plenty of good homestay and good service also.

The homestay is located in lebong tea estate the view from the rooms was so stunning and mesmerising and the owner behaviour was so good and the caretaker cum cook was so friendly and helpful the food was so good like ghar ka khana I highly recommend you to visit this place if you ever visit Darjeeling ❤️

The location is just 5km away from mall road. The place offers a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for relaxation. From the room, you can enjoy stunning views of Kanchenjunga, the sunrise, and the tea gardens. There's also an arrangement for barbecue and bonfire. You will ge awesome bengali food.

Don't go.Very bad behaviour.Water recession.Once they take your money they try to dominate you.Be aware of from their care taker

This is my first visit to Darjeeling,my first homestay experience and I must say , I just love the ambience of Misty Mountain.. From Fooding, lodging to each n every aspect I am very much satisfied,not just for the sake of giving rating and all,this is exactly what I felt,rather what we(me and my wife)felt during these 2 days visit.. **Must recommended**

Nice place to stay, owner of the resort is well behaved. Food is good. Stunning view from the window itself, sleeping budhdha can also be observed.

Stayed 3 nights in Dec 24. It is still to bloom fully. The decor and taste of decor are noteworthy. Having greenery in homestay rooms is rare. Wall photos are special - directly from artists. Food and attention are both personal. As a budget homestay the stay was pleasant. Hope it will further bloom and maintain well. Location wise it is awesome. Breathtaking Sleeping Buddha view right from the rooms. The deck provides the view of the entire valley with layers of mountains. Enjoy right from sunrise to sunset the various moods of Kanchenjunga and the valley

It is a new property, only 15 minutes drive from Darjeeling mall. Located on lebong cart road, so easily accessible for elders. It is just after crossing the rangeet tea estate. The owner and cook are both Bengali and very helpful and trustworthy. We stayed at the top floor from an amazing view of the jungle, tea garden and the entire range of Kanchanjangha is visible through a big window. Kanchanjangha is visible from other rooms as well but the best spot is their roof which gives an amazing panoramic view of the mountains, jungle, tea garden, lebong and mt kanchanjangha. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are clean and geyser is available. By the way, the entire Kanchanjangha range was visible from our washroom as well. It is a better alternative if you want to visit Darjeeling yet avoid the hustle bustle of the city, want to feel like staying in a place surrounded by greeneries. The price is very reasonable.
