A true home away from home—absolutely magical! I first traveled to Home Inn Darjeeling solo during a time when I really needed some space to reflect on life, and I truly found a sanctuary here. The owners, Vandana didi and Shailen da, are incredibly kind, empathetic, and sensible people who took care of me just like a daughter. Words cannot fully express how wonderful they are; they feel like family now. The rooms are identical, featuring a breathtaking valley view with a stunning glass window setup where you can sit all day and watch the clouds pass by. The absolute best part? You can watch the sunrise right from the comfort of your bed! The rooms are exceptionally comfortable with high-quality, ultra-soft mattresses, pillows, and quilts that guarantee a perfect night's sleep. Each room also has a clean, attached bathroom equipped with proper shower and geyser facilities. The location is unbeatable—literally a 2-minute walk from the Darjeeling Mall, meaning all essential amenities and services are right at arm's length. As a solo female traveler, safety was a major priority for me, and I felt 100% safe and secure throughout my stay. The food is fresh, incredibly healthy, and cooked to order by the owners themselves. To top it all off, they have an adorable, super-friendly dog named Dodo who will steal your heart, and Yogita didi is also wonderfully sweet and helpful. I have already visited twice in the last 7 months and intend to keep coming back. Vandana didi and Shailen da truly leave no stone unturned to ensure their guests are happy. I came as a guest but left as family. Highest possible recommendation for anyone visiting Darjeeling!

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Darjeeling. The location is peaceful and offers beautiful hill views. One of the best features of the room is the large east-facing window, which provides a stunning sunrise view over the hills. Waking up to the first rays of sunlight and the scenic landscape was truly a memorable experience. The homestay is located about 300 meters downhill from the Chaurasta (a centre prime location at mall road). While the walk is manageable for most travellers, it may not be the best choice for senior citizens or guests with mobility concerns. The hosts, a warm and courteous couple, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality was outstanding, and they were always attentive and helpful. The home-cooked food was delicious, fresh, and one of the highlights of our stay. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place with breath-taking views, a peaceful atmosphere, tasty food, and genuinely caring hosts, this homestay is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Darjeeling.

We really had nice experience at Home Inn in Darjeeling. Room was very nice with a large window from where we saw sunrise.. It was just amazing. Behaviour of the couple was so familiar that gave us a feeling of home staying away from home.The best part was their attention to details and willingness to help us anything we needed.

Very friendly and helpful couple running this. Excellent location and from room window you see very far to thr mountains. At night all houses below look like another star sky.
