An Unforgettable Stay!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Yashita Home Stay. From the very beginning, the check-in process was entirely smooth and without any hassles. The room itself was incredibly warm, cosy, and inviting.
A huge shoutout to the staff, who were consistently courteous, polite, and always greeted me with genuine smiles on their faces.
The absolute highlight, however, was the view. The sight of the mountains straight from the bedroom window was completely breathtaking—honestly, I have never seen anything quite like it in my entire life! I am already planning my next vacation and will definitely be coming back to stay here again. Highly recommended!
Very welcoming hosts and the rooftop view was breathtaking…. Peaceful area away from the hustle bustle of the town.
Great view you can see the lovely landscape 360! The rooms were spacious and clean the homestay was 5-7mins walk from the main taxi stand, you musttt try the food it is sooo good felt like i was in a home away from home also there is a super friendly cat which smelled like a baby i wanted to kidnap it😭

Not Recommended – Poor Service and Unprofessional Behavior
I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel. The staff kept repeatedly calling me before check-in, asking if I would come or not, which was unnecessary and made me feel pressured. Due to some issues, I checked in 3 hours late and requested just 1 extra hour during checkout as I was unwell. Instead of understanding my situation, they literally shouted at me, which was extremely rude and unprofessional.
The room was not well-maintained or clean as expected. Only the rooftop view was decent, but that’s about the only positive. The location is also not ideal for solo travelers — quite isolated and inconvenient.
Definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and respectful stay.
Good homestay with a beautiful view, rooms also beautiful
The best Homestay in the Darjeeling. The view of city and happy valley tea estate is amazing. The home cooked food is very delicious. Highly recommended for stay in the town if one wants pure peace and homely feel.
I loved my experience at Yashita. The family is very friendly, they speak good English and are helpful. Communication with hosts was impeccable! Before I came, they guided me how to get to Darjeeling and how much I should be charged. They also recommended things to see and told me few facts about the city. The best terrace view you can get! Homemade food was delicious and served on time. An authentic experience which will stay in my heart forever!
We got a beautiful stay for our darjeeling tour.. best part of the stay is their terrace which is a absolute 10 on 10.. we enjoyed our stay and we have been taken care by devender ji.. he is a real sweet person and soo helpfull to us
