A perfect location to go and rejuvenate yourself, hats off to the hospitality of Sangam(from the time he picked me up from the station to the time he dropped me off - he was extremely helpful and courteous), Anand (he was very patient with my unlimited random questions - he made sure to guide me throughout my travel plans) and the aunties who made scrumptious food - heavenly great food.
Must must visit, if you are just looking to relax yourself surrounded by great views, amazing hospitality and great people.
Our stay at Darjeeling village farm and Homestay was absolutely wonderful! Nestled in the middle of lush tea gardens, the location is peaceful, scenic, and perfect for anyone looking to unwind in nature.
The landlord was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and very hygienic, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The food was simply amazing—fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Every meal felt homely and satisfying.
If you're looking for a clean, peaceful, and memorable stay surrounded by breathtaking tea gardens, I highly recommend Darjeeling village farm and homestay. The hospitality, food, cleanliness, and serene atmosphere made our experience truly unforgettable. We would love to visit again!
The homestay location was perfect, as we wanted an offbeat, peaceful, and relaxing vacation. The view from the homestay was great, although we experienced mist and fog due to the monsoon. The service and food were top-notch — I wasn't expecting them to be this good. Our host, Sangam ji, was a very humble and sweet person. He also gave us a free tour to Lebong Monastery and the pine forest. It was such a peaceful and memorable vacation. I would definitely want to visit again during winters.
If you are looking for a peaceful place I will suggest to visit Lebong in Darjeeling and this homestay is real good in terms of views, their behaviour, hospitality and ofcourse food is just amazing.
I am overwhelmed by Sangam Ji's generosity and their homemade mouthwatering momos🤗.
Don't know about other things but I am going to miss "Snowbell" for sure.🐱
The experience was really good staying in this Homestay. The food was amazing, the hospitality was beyond words. The behaviour of our host Sangam ji was very appreciative. We loved our stay and want to visit again with family.
Amazing hospitality and genuinely down-to-earth people. Since it’s an offbeat location, you can’t expect city-like facilities and that’s exactly the charm. What truly stands out is their warmth, kindness, and willingness to help with a smile, never making you feel like you’re asking for too much. That level of genuine care is hard to find these days.
The owner and his wife are incredibly welcoming and simple people. There’s a sense of peace just talking to them. The food is delicious and clearly cooked with a lot of love and care.
The view from the homestay is absolutely stunning. Even though we visited during peak monsoon, we were lucky to enjoy breathtaking views. On a clear morning, you can have breakfast on the balcony with a spectacular view of Kanchenjunga.
If you’re looking to unwind away from the crowds and chaos of city life, this place is truly a serene and memorable escape. Highly recommended!

Very nyc person sangam da
The rooms are very nyc
The homemade food and the treatment by the people are always remember in the memories
Quiet atmosphere away from the crowded Darjeeling Mall area, The location gives more of a local, nature-focused stay experience instead of a standard hotel feeling.
A Stay to Remember....
Darjeeling village farm and homestay is a great option to skip your daily hustle and bustle. Near to darjeeling mall, in lebong, this beautiful homestay is situated. The main attraction is the calm and quietness for peace of mind. only the sound of nature. And the beautiful tea garden all arround. The host of the homestay Sangam bhai and his family, all are very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in this beautiful, quaint and peaceful homestay situated at Lebong inside a tea estate, surrounded by raw nature. The host and his family are very welcoming and help you with all your queries, treks and offbeat sightseeing. Our guide (arranged by our host) was very also very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Food was home cooked and delicious.
Overall our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. 😊
We had an amazing time at Darjeeling Village Farm Homestay. Truly one of the best homestays we've ever stayed at. The warmth, hospitality, and care from everyone made this trip incredibly special and singing countless songs with Sangam made the experience even more special.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We're already looking forward to coming back and creating many more memories with you in the future!

Absolute Paradise in Darjeeling – An Unforgettable Lifetime Memory!
If I could give this farmstay more than 5 stars, I would. From the moment we began our journey to the property, the owner, Sangam, was incredibly helpful, guiding our cab driver directly to the spot. The approach to the homestay takes you right through a lush tea garden, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The property sits perfectly in a V-shaped valley and on one side, you look out at a massive mountain blanketed in tea gardens, and on the other, the landscape drops into a deep valley before rising back up into giant, majestic peaks. Seeing the homestay from the top as we walked down made us so excited, and the reality was even better.
Upon arrival, Sangam welcomed us with the utmost warmth. He personally carried our luggage and greeted us with a cream-colored traditional Nepali greeting scarf (they call it Khada, if I'm not wrong), a beautiful gesture of respect that instantly made us feel at home, followed by a delicious cup of local tea. Our room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up to keep us warm.
The food here deserves a special mention. Almost everything served is organically grown right on their own farmland. We fell in love with their traditional Nepali Thali, which was not only delicious, clean, and hygienic, but also beautifully presented in traditional brass plates.
What truly sets this place apart is the family. In the evenings, we sat down with Sangam over tea and snacks for deep, fascinating conversations. We talked about the history of Darjeeling, its people, local agriculture, and shared our own life journeys. It was a classic, beautiful cross-cultural exchange. His father, a retired army officer, is equally incredible. Hearing about his military days was an honor; he spent his youth protecting the nation, and today he protects his beautiful family like a knight without shining armor.
Another highlight was the early morning trek with Sangam. We woke up naturally to the peaceful sound of hummingbirds. With walking sticks in hand, we set out into a dreamy, cloud-covered landscape with low visibility, walking through tea gardens and pine forests. At one point, surrounded by misty trees and the crisp, cold air, we stopped to listen to the silence of the forest, just catching our breath and drinking delicious coffee Sangam had prepared. The trek led us to a stunning, peaceful historic monastery. Sangam also took us to explore nearby Tibetan areas, where we learned so much about the local culture, their history, and their resilience.
This wasn't just a stay; it was a lifetime memory that we will carry in our hearts forever. If you want genuine hospitality, delicious farm-to-table food, and an authentic Darjeeling experience, do not hesitate to book this place. This has officially become my ultimate escape spot from the monotonous routine of daily life, and I already know I will be visiting Sangam and his family again and again. See you all very soon! Thank you, Sangam and family, for treating us like your own!
A piece of my heart stayed at this beautiful property. The peaceful energy, cozy room, and genuine hospitality made my solo trip magical.Sangam Bhaiya and his family is incredibly welcoming and always made me feel right at home. Aunty's handmade food is truly unmatched! This place has healed my soul. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and your hearts. I may have arrived as a stranger, but I am leaving as family.
I am going to miss everyone so much.
Best place to detox from busy schedule and digital life style.
It is my 1st ever solo visit in Darjeeling and I choose this offbeat place " Darjeeling village farm and home stay" in labong 10km far from Darjeeling main town . One of the best decision I have made. Sangam da is a great host, I really enjoyed my staying over there ,
Hope for a visit soon again 😊😀🙏🤗
I was planning to travel solo from NJP to Darjeeling after my bhutan trip. So after bhutan trip Anand guided me for how to reach Darjeeling. He is so kind and helpful that I have changed 3 sharing cab and he speaks with each driver. After I have reached lebong and sangam came to receive me. So i reached safe because of there guidence otherwise I was so sacred traveling alone. I fall sick during travelling to Darjeeling and sangam his family his friend priya and his staff took care of me. They continuously asking me about my health how iam feeling? what I wanted to eat? if iam refusing because of fever they suggest me other food options. Omg iam so overwhelmed. Sangam even arrange medicine then I feel good at 2nd day. The homestay is very speciaus and warm. Every corner is so beautiful. You can walk through tea gardens. In night omg the view is breathtaking. Because of my health i didn't explore much and that is my decision. But I cover lots of places like mall road, ghoom monestry, mirik lake one mirik hidden point, lepcha jagat, tea gardens, lamahatta. I skipped some places because I was not in condition to traveling. Priya and sangam took good photos and videos of mine. I was not eating because of motion sickness and they are feeling bad that iam sick and not eating anything in whole day😂. Priya is such a darling she took good care of me. We had dinner at famous restaurant at the mall road. Every time they meet there friends they introducede me as there friend and not a guest. Last day sangam and priya drop me at NJP station instead of taxi stand. They are worried because my train 3.45 am bit odd time. But sangam and Anand are countinuasly massaging me on WhatsApp asking about my health and my location till i reached home safely.
Now also if they msg me there second msg is how is your health? are you feeling better? People are asking me why do you visit Darjeeling you should visit sikkim. But the people I meet here, the places I saw the night life I experience, the friends i got don't think I will get all these in my any trip. Thank you for making my trip awesome. For girls if you are planning to visit Darjeeling solo i don't think you can get safety and comfort like this homestay.
Amazing experience, full on masti ,bravo lunch ,dinner. Every thing will be just look like a wow
The place is like heaven service is awesome, foods are also delicious and overall giving rating for the place 💙💙
Stunning views and genuinely cozy stay.
Stayed here for 3 nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. The homestay sits on a small hill and the view from the bedroom balcony is the first thing you see in the morning. You get a full sweep of the valley, and at sunrise the whole place glows. I had my chai out there every day.
The room itself is small but really cozy. Think warm lighting, soft blankets, and a bed you sink into. Everything was spotless and smelled like fresh linen.
Hosts were kind without hovering. They helped book a taxi without any fuss
Perfect offbeat location for stay
