From the very first morning, their thoughtful gesture of sharing the location and calling to guide us through the festive Navami traffic from Shittong made us feel genuinely cared for. Despite the Durga Puja jam, we arrived safely—thanks to their patience and concern. The hospitality here is top-notch, infused with genuine warmth. As a family traveling with a two-year-old, we were deeply touched by how lovingly they cared for our child—cooking for her without hesitation, treating her like one of their own. Uncle personally showed us where to park our car, and though we were initially hesitant to leave our bike outside, the humility and kindness of the villagers soon made us feel like part of their community. Roaming around felt safe, peaceful, and heartwarming. 🌄 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 Just 12 km from Darjeeling Mall, this offbeat gem offers tranquility far from the tourist rush. Early morning walks through the tea garden below the homestay—guided by Uncle—were pure bliss. The silence, the mist, the gentle rustle of leaves… it was a moment to breathe and belong. 🍃 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 Being strict vegetarians who avoid onion and garlic, we were amazed by their graceful accommodation of our dietary needs. Every meal was delicious, and every cup of tea felt like a warm chat with a sister. Their family is adorably homely, and their kindness lingers in memory. 🏔️ 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 From our balcony—and even our bed—we were blessed with a breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga bathed in morning light. The tea garden stretched below like a green poem. It was a sight that made us wish we had stayed one more day. In every way—hospitality, safety, food, and soul—this homestay lives up to its name. Mine – Hill Top Heaven is not just a place to stay, but a place to feel.

Had an amazing time here during our time at darjeeling. The rooms were cozy and hygienic. The view from the balcony was breathtaking to say the least. The food prepared by bhaabi was delectable and homely. The hosts very extremely welcoming and warm. And the cherry on the top is it being extremely budget friendly.

I really enjoyed the kind hospitality during my stay. I would happily choose this place again for my future trips to Darjeeling.

Mine Hill Top Heaven Homestay is truly a gem in Darjeeling! This was my second visit, and I’m amazed by their warm hospitality, excellent service, and cozy ambience. The rooms are perfect, and the breathtaking view of Mount Kanchenjunga is unforgettable. All this at a very reasonable price! Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Darjeeling.
