Norma Homestay

I stayed at this homestay for 2 days. My experience was certainly not pleasant. Norma has such a high rating because the previous owner was humane. The new owner's behaviour took a drastic turn with time. They kept reasoning with the provision of "special treatment" but there was no such provision,the treatment was infact ordinary. The rooms were not spacious and foods were below average. Overall ,do not recommend this homestay.

Bad experience. The proprietor of this homestay is Jhilik Dey; but she is controlled by Subrata Ghosh. The homestay charged Rs. 1450 per head instead of Rs 1300 per head due to postponement of date. Although other two homestays did not charge extra being more reputed than this one! I had booked one double bedded & one triple bedded rooms with attached bathroom. But attached bathroom is situated outside the room wihich is ridiculous. The rooms are small and clumsy. The foods were pathetic! The good reviews were posted in the time of previous proprieter. So please avoid this property.
