Kanchen View Homestay

Recently I visited Darjeeling and stayed at this place the rooms were nice clean location is also good waking distance to main attraction which is Darjeeling mail overall nice experience

Don't visit this hotel/homestay at all, though this is not any kind of homestay from any angle... I and my 4 friends had visited this hotel, and got tremendously worst services as well as experiences... We are informed that the hotel is just 5 mins away from the Darjeeling Mall but in reality, it was approxly 20 mins away from it... Moreover, there were no other visitors in the hotel even though they had given us the slaggy, dirty, foul odor bedsheet/bedcover and a type of room that doesn't not receive any sunlight at all... And also the staffs are careless and less concern about their guests.

Stunning views from the rooms! You can watch the hills at the stretch with uninterrupted view, enjoy the view of the toy train passing by occasionally and watch the clouds descending beautifully. The food is also homely and really tasty. Pork, egg and chicken dishes are a must try! The staff members are very polite and welcoming. Overall a very good experience staying here.Stunning views from the rooms! Dirty bed sheets and ‘gutkha chap’ carpet. Food was very bokwas. Terrible stay …..

Loved my stay at Kanchan View Homestay! 🌄 The views are breathtaking, the rooms are neat, and the food feels like home. The hosts are super kind and made us feel like family. Highly recommended if you want peace and fresh mountain air! A hidden gem near Darjeeling—perfect for a calm getaway!

Superb hospitality..must visit place

First of all the owner/host Biswanath is a very rude and ill-mannered person. Secondly, the rooms offered had dirty bed sheets, GHUTKA stained carpet and floor full of dirt and hair from previous guests. We booked this hotel because it was categorised as per friendly, but then the owner was abusing us and asking extra 1200 for cleaning pet fur. If the hotel is pet friendly, how is it our responsibility to clean its fur? Moreover, he argued his property was not pet friendly whereas the policy clearly mentioned it was. The man named Biswanath was very rude and was saying he will shift us to another room when we were not anywhere near the property by forcing entry to our rooms and taking our luggage out even when we didn't permit him to do so. For this we had to cancel our plans to rush back.

Bahut hi sundar view point k sath aacha location or Darjeeling Toy Train station k pass me hi hai ye hotel, bahut achha laga Family sath rahne me, 2 night stay tha mera, bahut achha Behaviour or Yaha ka cook ka v hath ka jadu kuch alag hi tha, Behterin Test wala fooding or wife ki Birthday celebration me bhi sab koi family members jaisa sahyog kiye the, thank you so much Kanchan View Homestay 🙏 Fir Milenge 🥰

The rooms were good, the washroom was clean and the staff were polite. Overall it's a good homestay.

Very poor location, washroom gets clogged, rooms are decent but smells very badly. It just stinks.
