Tibetan Villa Samalbong Homestay

If you plan to visit kalimpong I said all of you must stay this place. Really superb place and all staff behavior specially Tappu this guy are genius, or food are superb. Me and my friends are stay almost 3 days and I said that this place one of the best place ever to stay.

We stayed here for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. The homestay, food quality, and hospitality of the entire team were excellent. Special thanks to Tappu and Sourave for their warm service. A special mention to Tappu, who joined just 15 days ago but impressed us with his dedication and hospitality. Overall, a memorable stay. Thank you to the entire team!

One of the best offbeat places to experience nature, with a cozy homestay and delicious homemade food. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more memorable. Definitely worth staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay, run by a Bengali owner and staffs . With 8 rooms (4 occupancy each, up to 32 guests total), it has a cozy, homely feel. The highlight is undoubtedly the view — you can see Mount Kanchenjungha right from your room and balcony, which is simply breathtaking at sunrise. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay, and the food, cooked by a Bengali cook, was absolutely delicious — full of authentic home-style flavors. Another big plus is the location: the popular view spot is just a 2-3 minute walk away, so you don't have to travel far for those perfect photos. A few small suggestions for improvement — the rooms could use a bit more upkeep, and it would help if soap and proper handwash were provided in the bathrooms. Maintaining the garden a little better would also add to the overall charm of the property. Overall, a great homestay for anyone wanting a peaceful mountain view experience with genuine Bengali hospitality. Would definitely recommend, and hope the small maintenance issues get addressed soon!

We were on a family trip at monsoon and booked 2 cottages of this homestay at Samalbong.Rooms were large and airy but cleanliness of the room and toilet and surrounding of the cottages should be improved.Drainage system of the toilet was not functioning properly. Behavior of the staffs and food quality were excellent. View from the balcony was average but Samalbong view point is very close to this homestay. Calm and quietness of this place filled our mind with pleasure.

Our stay at BroZ Tibetan Villa, Samalbong was truly memorable. The peaceful surroundings, breathtaking mountain views from Swiss cottage, delicious home-cooked food specially the Bengali item sukto, and warm hospitality made us feel at home. The staff were caring and attentive throughout our stay. A perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and experience the beauty of the hills. Highly recommended!"

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 night, everything was great, location, food, staff and their service. Room were very spacious and provide great view, finely location which gives access to great sightseeing in nearby walking distance locations, will try to visit again in different season to experience different views there.
