Check the price—it should not be more than ₹1,051. In fact, it should be less than ₹1,000. Based on the price, check the reviews—they are mostly horrible. The location is terrible. My parents are senior citizens, and it was torture for them to climb up and down around 30 stairs just to reach the road. After that, you still have to go down a slope to reach the main road. A driver associated with this place manipulated us by saying it was the best hotel. We hired this driver from NJP and that was our worst decision. He even threatened on a friendly tone to leave us on the road if we didn’t agree, saying it would be extremely challenging for my father considering his age. He pretended to be a savior and took us to this awful homestay, claiming it was nearby, clean, and very cheap. It seemed like the driver had some arrangement with the homestay—I’m not sure what exactly—but he charged ₹4,200 per day and took an advance for two days (₹8,400). This place should not cost more than ₹1,000, especially for budget travelers. The rooms were extremely untidy, with insects everywhere. There was even a dead insect stuck on the wall that no one bothered to clean. The bedsheets were very smelly—you could literally smell sweat on them. There is a much better hotel right next to this place, and they were charging around ₹3,000 with breakfast. However, the driver lied and said rooms were not available there, and directly carried our luggage to this terrible place. We were clearly taken advantage of, especially considering my parents’ age. Please don’t fall for such traps. We got this driver from NJP. We left after two days and moved to a 4-star hotel for ₹4,800 with buffet breakfast, thanks to a discount through Agoda. In fact, you can find excellent hotels in Darjeeling for around ₹3,500 to ₹6,000 per day. Paying ₹4,200 per day for such a shitty homestay was completely unjustified. The driver clearly took a commission and deceived us. There is mountain view but it's so foggy you hardly can see anything. Never go here.

I’ve Wasted my money booking through online Please don’t do the mistake as i did before I was very shocked while entering the room (The Room was very very Dirty the Curtains the bedsheet bathroom eww I had some safety issues in my mind too 💀) I had to book another one Do not trust the photos posted through the online platforms Instead of posting their room photos they are posting Mannata Homestay room photos which is way better than this The room was Pathetic Don’t Waste Your Money Look for Better Options Nearby 👍🏼
