We stayed here for two nights and truly enjoyed our time there. Good amenities from bed warmers and heaters, to a smart tv with logged in Amazon Prime and Netflix. The place is accommodating enough for 8 people easily. The view from the master bedroom is worth every penny spent! The owner Abhinav was super easy to communicate with. From checkin to check-out, he ensured we were comfortable. The caretaker Pranesh, was very sweet. He also arranged a complimentary porter for us to carry our luggage up the steps. A 5 star experience overall. No complaints

Disappointing experience – Avoid if you want to see Darjeeling. ​Stayed here recently and it was very frustrating. The Wi-Fi didn't work for most of our stay, and we had no hot water, which is essential in this climate. The room had broken fixtures, and the kitchen lacked even a basic lighter for the stove. ​The biggest issue is the location. It is way too far from Mall Road and main attractions. Most drivers refuse to even go there, making sightseeing nearly impossible. You will be stuck at the property with no way to get around. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere more central.

Sitting on balcony , sipping tea , and watching Kanchanjunga, isn't it like a dream? If you willing to hide from society and planning to visit Darjeeling must stay at Daphne House to experience that kind of dream. Truly beautiful place to stay . Mostly recommended.

Daphne House truly stands out for its calm atmosphere and breathtaking hillside views. The rooms are well-kept, warm, and perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. What I loved most was the peaceful vibe and the care shown by the host—everything from check-in to local guidance was smooth. If you want a quiet stay away from city chaos but still close to everything, this is a great choice.

Staying here in Darjeeling was a truly refreshing experience. The view from the room was absolutely mesmerizing — waking up to the misty mountains and sipping tea with that scenery felt magical. The staff members were extremely polite, helpful, and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with a stunning view and warm hospitality, this property is a great choice.

Absolutely loved my stay at Daphne House! The location is peaceful yet well-connected to the main town. The rooms were clean, cozy, and offered beautiful mountain views—waking up to the misty hills was magical. The host was extremely warm, helpful, and responsive, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The homely vibe, cleanliness, and calm environment truly made it feel like a perfect Darjeeling retreat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, views, and great hospitality!

Daphne House has maybe the best balcony view in the city.

Very aesthetic and well decorated place, with a very comfortable drawing room that opens up to some great view of Kanchenjunga if you are lucky. It's well stocked, the care taking staffs are very friendly and helpful, and Abhinav is very responsive. There's a massive view from the rear balcony too. Overall a comfortable stay for 7-8 people. Not for senior citizens however due to the stairs.

Found quite pleasant place but abit long for walking distance as it has steep mountains . I would suggest the owner to atleast keep a two wheeler for the tourist as we are new to the city. Overall it was ok

THE BEST AIRBNB YOU COULD FIND IN DARJEELING! Stayed here a few years ago when I was in town for a couple of weeks, and the place was just amazing. Thank you, Abhinav, for being such an amazing host. You truly made me feel at home, away from home.

Stay with Dhaphne house was really soulful. We need a break and just wanted to relax ourselves and this property just match our expectations. There was every amenities to fulfill our needs.and the view from master bedroom was top notch. Special thanks to Abhinav and Pranesh for cooperating with us and giving amazing service to us.

If you are looking for a warm, clean home packed with all the amenities and a great view of the surrounding mountains then Daphne House is perfect for you. Chowrasta is a short walk from here and the host is gracious and kind.

Sweetest host and beautiful rooms. Everything was functional and we had a great time staying with them while we explored Darjeeling. Overall a safe space for women and travellers.
