Sweet Happy Journey Homestay

The location of the homestay is in the suburbs of mall road. Not a proper safe area for tourists. No safe parking for bikes. The rooms had no water running through the faucets and talking about the service the owner behaviour was very bad so rude and unprofessional. The staffs doesn't look like proper employees they have no manners on how to talk to people. The food was really bad , rice had stones in them and the fish was stale and hard. The whole food was smelly and the owner and the staff didn't own up to their action. Remaining apart from that their behaviour were worst to everyone and then even didn't bother to pick up the bags of ours when we needed help. NOT AT ALL RECOMENDED WHEN IT COMES TO SAFETY OF A WOMEN OR A FAMILY OR OWN VEHICHLE. KINDLY LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVES BUT DONT FALL FOR THE OWNER WORDS. THERE'S NO SAFETY AT ALL. WORST HOMESTAY EVER HAD SEEN

Owner behaviour is 0 out of 10. Food is -1 out of 10 Behaviour of the hotel staff is horrible.... Do never book this homestay in any circumstances....full scam is going on that homestay....very much risky place for tourist and travellers

As a tourist, we expect that homestay services and behaviours are much better than compared to other hotels. However, this place named as " SWEET HAPPY JOURNEY" homestay near Mall road is absolutely absurd place. The owner of this place has bahaved absolutely worst behaviour. The rooms were so bad and the food was terribly bad. Strict actions should be taken against this place and owner for misbehaving.

Though just 400 meters from Darjelling Mall, the road towards this homestay is very down and poor road conditions. Special warning to any cardiac or COPD /Renal patient or any Senior citizen .

This homestay is very good, We are very happy, The service is also very good. Owner Mr. Koushik and his wife are very friendly. What ever they have commented that they have fulfilled nicely. We have seen sunrise from the balcony. We are very pleased to see the view from this homestay. Thanks to Koushik and his wife for providing excellent service. With lots of love .
