I had the privilege to stay for 3 night's at jerong's homestay at Poobong it is absolutely remarkable for its scenic beauty and behaviour of the owner and staff is very cordial,as far as the food is concerned it is absolutely mouth watering.Promise Bikash ji to visit again during Feb/ Mar, 27.

What an amazing experience! Got a warm welcome with full traditional vibes 🙏✨ The location and view are just owsum, totally fatafati 🔥 The owner's behavior and the staff's service were excellent, and the food was so delicious you'll want to lick your fingers.

Great ambiance and rooms. Very homely food and great hospitality by the host. Just the weather was a bit on the downside for us, it was very cloudy. But everything was great in the homestay. Around 20 mins drive from the takdah orchid garden and some part of the road is layed with stones, so be ready for a little adventurous and bumpy ride. Well shedded parking lot. They have 3 properties, ranging from low to high altitude, so talk to them depending on your necessity. Also they guided us well regarding the route. Highly recommended if you are visiting Takdah.

This stay is heavenly, we've spent 2 night, but felt minimum to enjoy the view, the village. Clean and top notch rooms, excellent organic tea, healthy pahadi foods and the misty magic of mountains made our days memorable. This will be a highly recommended place from me whoever wants to experience peaceful and calm stay at offbeat North Bengal.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jerong's Homestay in Pubong, Khasmahal! The location is stunning and peaceful—perfect if you want to escape the crowds and enjoy nature. The hospitality by Bikash ji and the family was exceptional; they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Another major highlight was the food—every meal was fresh, healthy, and incredibly delicious. Clean rooms, beautiful mountain views, and top-notch service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting near Takdah/Darjeeling!

We stayed here for 2 days for a girls’ trip, and it turned out to be a perfect staycation with all the facilities we needed. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help and arrange anything we needed during our stay. The best part was how they respected and preferred our choices, making us feel very comfortable throughout. Overall, it was a really good experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to others. ✨

Stayed here for 2 days during our girls trip to Pubong, Darjeeling and had such a lovely experience. The food was really good, everyone at the homestay was warm and welcoming, and they arranged everything whenever we needed something. As tea lovers, their tea honestly felt like a warm hug in the hills. At dinner, we were casually talking about having fish as Bengalis on the first day, and the very next day they specially arranged fish for us, such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, a very homely and memorable stay ❤️

Amazing location, great views & Good people! The only challenge is reaching there if you are not familiar with mountain roads. But, it's definitely worth the view!
