Great experience.

It's very rare for me to post a negative review of a homestay, but unfortunately, this experience left me with no choice. Although the property is located in a beautiful place with panoramic mountain views, and the rooms were neat and clean, accessibility is a major concern. The last 1 km stretch of road is in poor condition and is usually not accessible by car, making it difficult for families with children or elderly guests, as they have to walk uphill. The homestay does not provide a pickup service. They can arrange a vehicle on request, but the charges are considerably higher than if you book transportation yourself. The biggest disappointment was the food. Unfortunately, it was the worst food I've had at any homestay. We had puri and sabzi for breakfast and suffered from heartburn for the rest of the day. The chicken kasha served for dinner was extremely bland, it tasted like chicken boiled with nothing more than salt and turmeric. Even through the chart says dinner time is 8:30 to 10:30PM, we were forced to had our dinner at 9. The room itself also had several issues. The wash basin pipe was broken, making the basin practically unusable. Whenever we tried to use it, water would splash onto our feet and pants because the drainage pipe was damaged. Another issue was the lack of basic amenities. Although we booked a four beded room for two couples, only one towel was provided initially. They refused to provide another towel at first, and only after repeated requests did they give us a second one, which was not very clean. There were also no drinking glasses in the room. When we asked for them, we were given old, dirty plastic glasses, which wasn't expected at all. The homestay also seemed to be running short of drinking water. For four people staying for two nights, we were provided with only six bottles of water, despite being charged for them. We had to be very careful with our water consumption throughout the stay. Another odd experience was the seating arrangement. The room was meant to accommodate four guests, yet it had only two chairs/stools. When we requested two additional chairs, we were told that extra chairs were not allowed inside the room and that we should sit outside instead. However, the outdoor seating area was already occupied by other guests and was itself short of chairs 😅 Based on our experience, I would not recommend this homestay at its current stage. I understand that it is a newly opened property, but there is still a lot of room for improvement, especially in terms of hospitality, guest service, and basic amenities. We were not expecting luxury from a mountain homestay, but we did expect the basic comforts and facilities that any guest should reasonably receive. Unfortunately, they were not even close.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful view from the room. Waking up to the scenic surroundings and enjoying the view from the window made the experience even more relaxing. The staff were friendly(Specially kancha and kanchi,🥹), the amenities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again."

We went here for 1 day holiday trip with family and friends. The homestay provides luxury rooms for stay with all basic amenities. Views from the homestay was fabulous and breathtaking. Overall experience were good. The staff was very cooperative and well behaved.

It could be a nice experience but was a disappointing one overall. The only positive aspect of this homestay is the beautiful scenic view from the property. However, reaching the homestay is extremely difficult due to the very poor condition of the last part of the road towards the homestay (around 1–1.5 km). Small cars such as a WagonR cannot easily reach the property because of the poor condition of the muddy unpaved road (the last 1-1.5 km), making the journey very challenging. Also there were no car parking facilities available. The homestay does not provide any pickup or drop facility. The owner can arrange vehicles, but the charges were significantly higher than usual. I would strongly recommend that future visitors arrange their own transportation instead of relying on the homestay's vehicle bookings. Another major issue was that even the sightseeing vehicle booked for us dropped us off before the final stretch of the road, forcing us to walk uphill on a steep and poorly maintained path to reach the homestay. Carrying luggage on this route was difficult, and it would be especially problematic for families with children, elderly guests, or anyone with mobility issues. While the view is undoubtedly beautiful, the accessibility issues and transportation arrangements made the overall experience quite frustrating. I would advise potential visitors to consider these factors carefully before booking.

360° mountain 🏔️ views. Homestay supb ♥️♥️♥️

We had a really pleasant stay at the homestay and truly enjoyed our overall experience. The best part of the stay was definitely the breathtaking 360° view. The scenery was absolutely amazing and made our trip even more memorable. The room quality was also very good, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food was average to good in terms of taste, and we appreciated the effort put into the meals. Another thing we really liked was the behavior of the staff members, they were extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We would also like to share a few suggestions for improvement from our side: 🌟The food section could be improved a little more, especially the taste and seasoning of some dishes. 🌟It would be very helpful to add emergency contact numbers inside the rooms along with the other rules and restrictions, as guests may face emergency situations during their stay at night time.

The best homestay i have visited in this year. Hospitality, location, view everything is perfect. Best place for those who want peace in mountains.

Beautiful Offbeat place of Kalimpong, Situated at Sinjee. Place has beautiful spacious rooms with modern amenities, beautiful View around the Homestay, Good food, Good people here. Some nagative point is, this place often faces Loadshading, sometimes its longer to comeback, and another is the way to the homestay is totally off-road upside, dificult for older people. Other than that this is a Beautiful Homestay here, i personally loved the place. I recomend it. ❤️❤️

Rooms are good ..but food is not good.. Chicken pices are very small. Not satisfied

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay in Sinjee Pabong . The location was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful hills and fresh mountain air, making it a perfect getaway from city life. The rooms were clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The hosts were extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel at home and guided us about local sightseeing spots as well. The homemade food was delicious and added a special touch to the entire experience.

Nomads nest Homestay is highly recommended because their services, their rooms, the unbelievable 360° view of the whole Kalimpong town and the Kanchenjunga range is very beautiful. Their rooms are made of pine wood which offers warmth and comfort. Their wide windows offer a nice view and the rooms have all basic amenities too. There are total 4 rooms to accommodate a total of upto 16-18 guests. The night view offers Kalimpong town necklace view, the day and evenings are filled with magical sunrises and sunsets. The food is homely and tasty. You shouldn't miss their bonfire and barbeque. There are many nearby place of attractions like Xeroyong Point, Waterfalls etc. Overall a great experience.
