I booked this homestay 2 months in advance and paid the full amount upfront. Despite having a confirmed booking and an advance payment, when I arrived for check-in, the management callously informed me that they had no rooms available.This place is completely unreliable and operates like a scam. They take your money months ahead of time and leave you stranded without accommodation upon arrival. The management showed zero accountability or professionalism.Please save your money and peace of mind—do not book this hotel. They are fraudulent and cannot be trusted with your travel plans...0 rating deserve

Had a great stay. Really comfortable rooms and great service. The view from very corner was breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here!

Rooms are well maintained, services are promptly available, but being a little away from taxi stand & has to go down, little cumbersome for senior citizens.

Ruined my entire plan , had to make another reservation because Raagini refused to help as they cancelled my reservation made on booking.com because i did not pay the advance which was not mentioned anywhere on app. Mannerless , Rude and disgusting behaviour. Your fall is evident from the review section .

I recently stayed in this homestay in April 26. Room and toilet cleanliness was very good. Staff were very cooperative. The only negative thing is the distance from Mall Road approx 2 Km. Rest all experience was very good. I prefer to stay in this homestay because cleanliness and facilities as per price of room was good.

The rooms are very good and clean and the view was very beautiful. And also the food quality is very good.

This is one of the highest ranked homestay if you want to get chopped in the middle of the night . The location is so unsafe and isolated from the main road , and the worst part is that nothing is they take you about 3 turns downhill they through and alley to reach the homestay in complete dark . We had an issue and the managing staff was so uncooperative and was talking nonsense . We had a talk with the owner who said something different while the staff was saying the complete opposite. The room service was terrible . The room and view was also not as great as shown in the photos . Overall it's better to avoid this if you want to sleep without constantly worrying

Idk from where I start. I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this homestay. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was extremely clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, and the bathroom was equally spotless, which made the stay even more pleasant. One of the best parts was the beautiful view from the balcony—it was peaceful, refreshing, and truly made my mornings and evenings special. The overall atmosphere of the place was calm and relaxing. The service was also excellent; the staff were very polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Every little detail was taken care of, which made me feel at home. Overall, everything about this homestay was just perfect, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay.i will choose this homestay again and again whenever I go to darjeeling. Genuinely suggesting you all this homestay just go for it.This homestay has all my heart, thanks to this homestay fir giving me such a beautiful memory💕🫶.

Booked this place offline and had a really nice stay. The homestay was clean, peaceful, and the staff was good too. Rooms were super nice and the view was honestly amazing. Also, for ₹2000, getting a room with 2 double beds and proper partition felt worth it. Overall, a very good and comfortable stay.

I stayed at Norbu Homestay in January 2026. It is located quite close to the Darjeeling railway station. You may have to walk a little, but once you enter the homestay, the view is absolutely fascinating. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with all the basic necessities such as toiletries, coffee and tea pouches, a geyser, and an electric kettle. We were a group of 7 people, and all of us loved the stay. The food they cooked was really delicious and reasonably priced. We used to have our breakfast on the balcony, and it was such a beautiful experience. They have lovely crockery, and the view from the balcony is just amazing. Even though it was cold, we still preferred eating outside because it felt so peaceful. If the weather is clear, you can even see the Kanchenjunga mountain from there. The hosts were very sweet, welcoming, and polite in nature. Overall, I loved everything about this homestay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Darjeeling.

I stayed here 1 night for my family vacation, and while the room was cheap and the breakfast was good, getting there is quite a challenge. You have to navigate through narrow, sloping alleyways on foot. It’s not the easiest walk with bags and a baby. It’s manageable if you’re traveling light, but you might want to reconsider if you are carrying large suitcases or traveling with kids in prams or with walking difficulties, as the walk is not easy. Great if you're on a budget and don't mind a bit of a hike!

I am beyond disappointed with the way this homestay handled our reservation. We had pre-booked and confirmed our rooms for three nights and four days well in advance. Not only did we receive confirmation, but we also reconfirmed via text and phone call on the same exact day before arrival to ensure everything was in order. Shockingly, when we called the homestay upon almost arriving, we were informed that our rooms were no longer available for the full duration of our stay. Instead, we were told they could only accommodate us for one night, and that we would need to check out the very next day. This was despite having prior confirmation and taking the responsible step of double-checking beforehand. This level of mismanagement is completely unacceptable. We planned our trip around this booking, trusted their confirmations, and were left scrambling for alternative accommodation at the last minute. The stress, inconvenience, and disruption this caused could have been avoided if the hotel had honored their commitment. A confirmed reservation should mean exactly that - confirmed. Failing to provide rooms that were already booked and verified shows a serious lack of professionalism and reliability. I would strongly advise future guests to think twice before booking here, as confirmed reservations apparently do not guarantee a stay
