Worst hotel experience in Darjeeling.
The hotel is located at a very high point, and no vehicle can drop you off or pick you up directly from the hotel, which makes carrying luggage very difficult. The hill view is also quite average and not worth the inconvenience.
The rooms are in very poor condition considering the price. They have a bad smell, there are too many insects, and the bathroom lacks proper facilities and maintenance.
The service is even worse. The staff rarely respond the first time, and you have to complain repeatedly for basic things like drinking water, electricity, and other essential services.
The food is also overpriced for the quality. You can easily find much tastier food at nearby restaurants for a better price.
This hotel is mainly promoted by travel agents or dalal despite offering a poor experience. I would not recommend staying here.
My advice is to avoid this hotel or leave as soon as possible if you have another option.
Staff behavior is very bad. otherwise the view from top floor nothing is good here. rooms lacked basics needs of a person. Blankets given to us was too much dirty. overall bad experience.
All Damp rooms,so rooms are very much cold,bathroom condition very bad, the latrings are floating from pan, the toilet washing piston no working, gysers not working, always ask for hot water but not giving in time.The room feelings like a horrors could not sleep properly.Wooden Almirah broken, no mirror.Darjeeling Mall is far from this hotel , it takes 30 minutes for walking. No cars are available from this hotel due to back side of road.
We have taken 7 rooms for package, Booking done from Kolkata.When we booked the hotel shows the rooms beautiful but when we are all attended there looks very bad. Requesting not to be booked the hotel The Janani Villa
Location too far..
Very dirty and unhygienic rooms and bathrooms. There is no towel stand or any hook in the bathroom which one given to me. Moreover behaviour of the staffs, specially lease owner and manager is very bad. I never recommend to anyone. I think this is the worst hotel in Darjeeling. Horrible experience.
