Worst hotel experience in Darjeeling. The hotel is located at a very high point, and no vehicle can drop you off or pick you up directly from the hotel, which makes carrying luggage very difficult. The hill view is also quite average and not worth the inconvenience. The rooms are in very poor condition considering the price. They have a bad smell, there are too many insects, and the bathroom lacks proper facilities and maintenance. The service is even worse. The staff rarely respond the first time, and you have to complain repeatedly for basic things like drinking water, electricity, and other essential services. The food is also overpriced for the quality. You can easily find much tastier food at nearby restaurants for a better price. This hotel is mainly promoted by travel agents or dalal despite offering a poor experience. I would not recommend staying here. My advice is to avoid this hotel or leave as soon as possible if you have another option.
