Magnolia Homestay Darjeeling

We recently stayed at Magnolia, and honestly, it was such a lovely experience that it already feels like our go-to place in Darjeeling. We stayed in the 2BHK apartment, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and had pretty much everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Both rooms had plenty of natural light, and the balcony view of the Happy Valley Tea Estate was just beautiful. Sitting there with a cup of tea and enjoying the view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! We also had no issues at all with water, electricity, or the internet. Since I had to work during the trip, a reliable internet connection was really important for me, and I had absolutely no issues working from the property. The host was very responsive and always available whenever we needed anything. And a special thank you for the sel roti , that was such a sweet gesture, and we absolutely loved it! Overall, Magnolia gave us exactly the kind of stay we were looking for in Darjeeling, comfortable, peaceful, and homely. Whenever I visit Darjeeling again, Magnolia will definitely be my first choice. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Darjeeling while staying somewhere that genuinely feels like home!

One of the best and most affordable homestays in Darjeeling! The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains and valleys, along with the peaceful and foggy atmosphere that makes the stay even more special. The amenities were excellent, and everything was well maintained. The kitchen and washrooms were exceptionally clean and hygienic, which made our stay very comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great views, cleanliness, comfort, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an affordable and peaceful stay in Darjeeling! ❤️🏔️

Our stay in Darjeeling was made unforgettable thanks to Samridhi’s incredible hospitality. The property is absolutely stunning, but it’s the thoughtful touches that really set it apart. ​Darjeeling nights can get quite chilly, so we were incredibly grateful that Samridhi had provided plenty of extra, high-quality blankets to keep us cozy. It’s rare to find a host who anticipates your needs before you even have to ask! ​The space was spotless, the views were breathtaking, and Samridhi was always available with the best local tips for tea spots and hidden cafes. If you’re looking for a warm, comfortable, and authentic Himalayan experience, look no further. We can’t wait to come back!

This property is listed on Airbnb. However, the kitchen is not well equipped; they did not have an induction stove, no water purifier, no heater. And yes, they charge extra for drinking water and heater. We did not get a heater even when we asked for it in freezing cold. The room was spacious though with a balcony having good view. But the experience could've been better!

The contact person is very rude. She doesn't know how to talk to people. And she's very greedy asking for money for even checking out the property before booking.

We had a really good stay at Magnolia Homestay, Darjeeling. The place felt safe and comfortable, with a spacious hall, kitchen, and an amazing view of nature. It really felt like a home away from home. The host was super friendly and welcoming, which made our trip even better. We 👫still can’t stop thinking about Darjeeling and our time here.
