Had a wonderful stay at Mabel Farmstay in Paren. Farrmstay is located surrounded by greenery and mountains.The rooms were very hygienic, well-maintained, and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to unwind.
The host madhav dai and binita didi was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Food was very fresh,tasty and organic
The highlight of our stay was spending time with the kids, Mabel and Melvin. They were absolutely lovely, and we truly enjoyed playing and interacting with them.
Overall, a warm and memorable experience. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Our stay at Mabel Farmstay in Paren was truly one of the most heartwarming experiences of our trip. The location is absolutely serene, surrounded by beautiful mountains and peaceful greenery — the kind of place where you instantly slow down and relax.
The rooms are very cosy, airy, and thoughtfully done. Waking up to views of the mountains and the farm right from the room felt incredibly refreshing and grounding.
A special mention to the wonderful hosts, Madhav dai and Binita didi, who made us feel completely at home with their kindness and warmth. Their hospitality goes beyond just service, it feels personal and genuine.
Food made by Binita didi was organic, fresh, delicious, and made with so much love. Every meal felt wholesome and satisfying.
And of course, the highlight of our stay was the lovely kids, Mable and Melvin!!!! ❤️We had such a great time playing with them that we ended up extending our stay by two extra days just to spend more time there. Their presence added so much joy to the experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Mabel farmstay with Madhav and his family. We were treated with delicious home cooked meals. They were attentive and catered to all our needs. We truly appreciate the hospitality that was offered and recommend this place for anyone travelling to Parentar.
What an amazing experience, lovely food, good chai and beautiful peace and quiet. We planted some rice and swam in the most amazing river. But above all this was the people we met, Maddy and is family. It really felt like Home.

Plaats met erg lieve mensen die je met alles wel willen helpen. Middenin het landbouwgebied met prachtige uitzichten. Alles van hun eigen land. Alles voorzien, maar wel W-Bengaalse stijl (Bhutisch/Nepalees). Spreken goed Engels.
I have no words to express my feelings towards the whole family of Mabel Farmstay, Parentar. I have only emotions to share. Everything about this place is perfect. Kindness, care, hospitality, and generosity are something you rarely find these days. But Mr. Madhav and his family have given us ample of those. My wife and I went there for the Kholeydai Festival and stayed there for a week, which became our home. The whole family took great care of us. It was a wonderful experience just being there. The location is beautiful. A beautiful house nestled in between terraces of rice cultivation. Quite and Serene. The food was delicious and so healthy. We miss them a lot, especially Mabel & Melbin, after coming to Tezpur and getting busy with our lives. I pray for their happiness and hope that they have the strength to stay the way they are and get lots of support and love from sensible travellers. I also request fellow travellers to take care of their waste while travelling, as waste disposal has become a serious problem. Let us all be sensitive towards nature and impact less.
