Yonzone Homestay Kaffergaon

If there was below one star, I would prefer to give that.. This property belongs to Suvokkhon group and mostly many tour travel agent keep their guest in this property, so if you want to visit Kafergaon through any tour travel, first ask them about the homestay name, if they mentioned this homestay, I will suggest you to stay away from this homestay. The location is too much remote and too much downhill from other popular homestay like Sailung valley or 360° view or Kafer homestay. The staff was so careless and rude, he introduced himself as owner of that property, but next day he introduced himself as cook. He didn't care about any negative reviews. They do the cost cutting in every possible ways The food quality was 🤮 and the rice was too much over cooked (like fan/mar vat) and there was no sabji with rice, only egg curry or chiken curry without potato, you have to eat with that only, Chai provided without milk and in breakfast they provided only maggi even without sabji also. Room was not cleaned , everywhere the fungus were there and there was dust also on pillow and bedsheet.

I stayed at Yonzone Homestay during my Kalimpong trip with **Subhokkhon** about four months ago, and it was such a lovely experience. Waking up to the Kanchenjunga view right from the room was the best part. The hosts were very warm, the food was delicious, and the place felt so peaceful. As a solo traveller, I felt completely at home here....

Very bad experience...the bathroom was not cleaned...there was fungus in the towel and we had to change our homestay then and then ...it was a awful experience

Our experience at Yonzone Homestay was very disappointing. When we arrived, we were not given the rooms that had been shown to us before booking. Instead, we were offered different rooms. Although we decided to adjust, the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. The pillows were in very poor condition, the table was dirty, and the blankets had spider webs on them. The bathroom washbasin had paan stains, which clearly showed that it had not been cleaned properly. The biggest concern was the bathroom window. It was a large glass window that could not be locked and was covered only with a thin old cloth. There were visible gaps from the sides, making the bathroom feel completely unsafe and lacking privacy. Since we had girls in our group, this was a serious issue and we could not take the risk. We had spent the whole day travelling and sightseeing before checking in around 4:00 PM, but because of the room's condition and the privacy concerns, we had no choice but to leave. We checked out at around 6:00 PM the same evening and fortunately found another homestay nearby. The caretaker's behaviour was also very rude and unhelpful. We called the owner to explain the situation. Initially, he was unwilling to accept our complaints, but after discussing everything, he acknowledged the issues and refunded the amount for both of our rooms. I hope the management improves cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety so that future visitors do not have to face the same experience.

We stayed in this homestay through Shubho Travels.Overall home stay was so good , including fooding & lodging was very good . Vibe was very much peaceful & balcony view was amazing...

This is love at first sight. Rooms are big and spacious. Truly king size beds and all rooms have Kanchanjangha view. Services are to the mark and on time.

Very bad experience, not recommended at all, we were promised two double bed in a room but there is only one double bed in a room, rooms are dirty, pillows are substandard. Please be aware before making any booking at this homestay
