I booked Flavors Nest Hotel near Darjeeling Mall Road from 10.05.26 to 12.05.26 through MakeMyTrip. While booking, the room photos looked very good online, but the actual experience was completely different. First of all, after reaching Mall Road from NJP by reserve sumo, nobody around the area even knew about this hotel. The cab dropped us nearby and we had to search for almost 30 minutes with luggage. Finally when we found it, the hotel was located down a very narrow lane with a long staircase. I was honestly shocked seeing the location. The room given to us was very small and totally different from the pictures shown online. There were 2 beds adjusted in a tiny room, bad smell inside the room, and the washroom was extremely dirty. I politely requested the staff to clean it, but they clearly refused and said “yahi room hai”. There were 2 male staff members and their behaviour was very rude and unhelpful. I was travelling with my family members, so we felt very uncomfortable staying there. I immediately contacted MakeMyTrip for cancellation, but since the booking was non-refundable, they also denied any refund. Finally, we left the hotel and somehow managed to get one room at Pine Ridge after requesting their manager, paying ₹3000 for one night again. My hard-earned ₹3500 got wasted here. Very bad experience with Flavors Nest Hotel. I would not recommend anyone to make advance payment before checking the property personally. Please visit and see the hotel first, then only book if you are satisfied.

It wasn't there in Maps so added this location when I booked it through MakeMyTrip. My 2 night trip is over and the views are awesome from the rooms. The hosts are 2 lovely bros!! 🥰 It's a value for money deal.
