Spring Brooks Homestay

Very good people. A bit difficult to reach, best to coordinate with spring brooks owner to arrange for taxi. Worth the long beautiful drive. The tranquility, solitude, service, hospitality and comfort is wonderful. Best place for rejuvenation.

Great cozy homestay with view of Kanchenjunga on a clear day, 40 minutes away from Darjeeling, tucked away in the mountains. Great hospitality, clean rooms, good home cooked food provided. Very good staying option for a nice detox away from all the noise and pollution. The way that leads to the homestay is quite rocky and can be accessed only in cars from that area

Awesome views and scenic beauty…nicely managed by thapa ji…rooms are cosy and small children will love the place…value for money. One should go there to find “EVERYTHING IN NOTHING”. Don’t expect city life there, roads to reach the place is very demanding, would require good driving skill because roads are sometimes 60 degrees sloping if you have 4x4 then it is nice FWD be prepared for some 1st gear exercise and RWD will be easy. Vest value for stay in Darjeeling offbeat locations.

I am glad that I found this property, during my 3 days trip into Darjeeling. Spring Brooks homestay is located approx. 2 km from Rock Garden and its really beautiful. This is a perfect place for people who are looking for a serene calm and quite place in the lap of nature to enjoy the magnificent view of Kanchenjunga. A perfect place to do meditation and detach yourself from urban toxic stressful life. Mr. Sabin Thapa and Mrs. Jyotika Thapa are awesome host and they prepare excellent foods , Extremely healthy, very less oil and super tasty , All their food are home grown organic which is a plus. Mr. Thapa talks less but extremely caring and accommodative and will leave no stone unturned to cater your needs. The only challenging factor is the approaching road to Spring Brooks. Road condition is not really good and very steep in few places, However if you are an experienced driver you can drive with little effort. I drove my Tata Nexon myself all the way, but the good part is , if you give a call to Mr. Thapa , he will arrange pickup and drop for you from Darjeeling itself. He even arrange for Darjeeling sight seeing in a separate car from his location. I will definitely recommend Spring Brooks to anyone who is looking for little adventure and relaxing vacation in the lap of nature to enjoy marvelous view and home cook tasty food together.
