We had a wonderful stay at Marigold Manor Homestay in Darjeeling. The location is absolutely beautiful, offering peaceful surroundings while still being conveniently accessible to Batasia Loop and Ghoom monastery. The hospitality of Prayash and his family was exceptional—they made us feel right at home with their warmth, kindness, and genuine care. The home-cooked food was fresh, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming place with great food and an amazing location, I would highly recommend Marigold Manor Homestay!

One of the best hosts I've ever met. The location is excellent, with the iconic steam train passing right in front of the property. The food is delicious, home-cooked, and very reasonably priced. I stayed here with my parents, sister, and two children, and we all had a wonderful experience. Getting around is easy as shared taxis are readily available and frequent. You can reach the main Darjeeling market for just ₹30–35 per person. The property is located in Ghoom which is a little away from the town center but that's actually an advantage as it offers a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds and chaos of the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Darjeeling.

Excellent experience

We had the pleasure of staying in Marigold Manor for 3 nights. It was really a great experience. The hospitality was awesome. The room was neat and clean. The linens were well maintained. Most importantly the breakfast was GREAT. The room that we stayed in was not a view room but the prime location of the property compensated for the same. Batasia loop and Ghoom monastry are at a walking distance from the property. Thanks a lot to the host and the entire family for taking excellent care of us.

Highly recommended for family. It was good experience.

Best home stay in Town

I’m from Kerala and I had such a wonderful stay here. From the moment I arrived, it truly felt like being at home rather than staying somewhere new. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. One of the best parts of the stay was the beautiful view of the very famous Darjeeling toy train tracks right in front of the house. Watching the train pass by with the hills around was such a special experience. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, homemade, and prepared with so much care. They also supported me with great guidance for exploring the local places, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an awesome and memorable stay. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Darjeeling.

Darjeeling queen of hills,but people like Prays and Divya(his wife) makes you feel as the king of a Darjeeling.I have been traveling in many countries and places due to nature of job,but believe me I haven't experienced the bench mark of hospitality they served to us.I don't know ever again I will visit Darjeeling again or not,but if yes than because of Mariegold home stay.I must say if you visit Darjeeling go once to there and it's become your second home.I am overwhelming with their hospitality.

Amazing hospitality great food lovely rooms beautiful view altogether everything is great

This was a part of my impromptu last minute plan to Darjeeling hills. Located this gem while arranging a solo trip and a few days of peace, quiet and work from the hills. The hosts were fabulous, always ready to accommodate every small request that was made. Got introduced to their lifestyle, simple and humble living routine and endeavours to build connections with every visitor that comes in. On most days, I would take breakfast and retire in the open space infront of the house with a cup of tea and enjoy the presence of a quiet neighbourhood occassionally shattered by the rattling sound of the heritage DHR Steam Loco on its way to Ghoom or Darj. Initially planned as a 3 nights 4 days stay, the hospitality and warmth ensured that I stay a full week and enjoy my time. Thanks to Prayash, Divya and their family for making this a wonderful week long stay at Ghoom.
