Vajra Kunj Homestay

My stay at Vajra Kunj was excellent. Everything was perfect, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the peaceful atmosphere. The food was very delicious and freshly prepared. The caretaker and host were extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. The service was outstanding, and I truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended for a comfortable and memorable experience.

Service is extraordinary. All is normal, house is not too old but old, there is local house held gadda instead mattress. Except this all over fine

I have stayed at Vajra Kunj Homestay from 30th May to 2nd June 2025. The homestay offers a delightful experience for my seeking comfort, scenic beauty, and warm hospitality. The accommodation is notably clean, and the rooms are decorated in vibrant, cheerful tones that create an uplifting atmosphere. Situated on a hillside not far from the main road, the homestay provides a peaceful escape from city noise while remaining conveniently accessible. One of the highlights of staying at Vajra Kunj is the scenic view. I can relax and enjoy the picturesque landscape right from the window of my room or choose to sip a warm cup of tea on the rooftop terrace, which offers a tranquil setting for viewing the surrounding hills. Despite being somewhat removed from the main thoroughfare, the location is still very convenient, especially for traveling with shared local taxis. These taxis make it easy to explore the city center, markets, and other local attractions. However, we should note that these shared taxis only stop when seats are available, which may require some waiting, as the frequency and timing of passing taxis are unpredictable. For the return journey, I can wait for shared taxis at the main road near the entrance to the homestay, which offer easy access back to Siliguri and Bagdogra Airport. In terms of service, Vajra Kunj truly excels. The host is exceptionally friendly, polite, and always willing to help. From responding to my requests to providing thoughtful recommendations and even drawing simple travel maps, the hospitality here ensures that I feel well cared for and confident exploring the area independently. While breakfast and dinner are not included in the room rate, meals can be ordered directly from the host. The food is reasonably priced, offers a variety of options, and is delivered punctually to my room on time, ensuring both convenience and comfort. Very nice place.Very very Good behaviour people.vajra Kunj ka khana bahut hi badhiya hai.Good location taxi stand pass hone se Kahi bhi aasani se ja sakte hai.room bahut hi badhiya full of greenary hai ... Vajra Kunj apne ghar ki tarah lagata hai.

Very nice behaviour and we feel like they are like our family and very tasty and hygienic food and we are very very very happy to meet them they were very friendly to us as well as our children they were so sweet to us but the main thing was their friendly and nice behaviour and their proper hygiene food and from their rooftop there was a great view as we can see kanchenjunga from there very nice it was this much good that we don't want to go from there and be their only so thanku so much to meet you thanku 😊😊

I had a wonderful experience staying at Vajra Kunj. The host, Bishu, and his family took exceptional care of us throughout our visit. Each day, they served us delicious local cuisines, including Nepalese, Sikkimese, and Bhutanese dishes. The rooms were cosy and well-appointed, filled with natural sunlight and fresh air, making for a comfortable stay. The homestay is equipped with high-speed internet and reliable power backup, which are great perks if you're planning a workcation. The location is perfect for enjoying stunning valley views. From the rooftop, you can see the magnificent Mount Kanchenjunga, and Bishu Da is kind enough to provide binoculars if you're interested in exploring the mountain range up close. Bishu Da also shared valuable information about various local attractions and recommended market places for purchasing winter wear. Overall, my experience at Vajra Kunj during my workcation in Darjeeling was fantastic. I highly recommend this homestay for anyone looking to experience the local culture of Darjeeling.

So cosy bedroom. We enjoyed there so much. Everyone's behavior was very good. We were accompanied so well by them. Instant services,good food, free breakfast, awesome view of Kanchenjunga from rooftop.

This is an amazing place with a friendly host at a reasonable price. The location is splendid with lots of nearby attractions. I would definitely visit the homestay again.
