Amazing and cozy property. Away from the chaos of the city, yet close enough to walk to most popular spots. The host was really warm and welcoming. She went out of her way to ensure the guest's comfort. Would totally come back and highly recommend to anyone on a budget or anyone who wants homely vibes while staying in Darjeeling.

Looking for a quite peaceful place to stay , tapovan Homestay is the best place for you . The quality of the rooms are really good it is very cozy , The taste of the food is really good and it is very hygienic, and from the balcony you get a really good view and the atmosphere in this place is serene The owners of this place treat you really well , they treat you like their own family member , they help you in all the things like restaurant recommendations , arranging taxi and rental bikes and scooters , The location of this place is also really good it’s located centrally in the town and the market and other shops are in very walkable distance and all the major tourist attractions are in very walkable distance They take care of you really well and you will be really enjoying this place

I had booked Tapovan Homestay for 2 nights and ended up extending my stay here. Nalini and Uddhav are great hosts. The place itself was clean, comfy and everything that we were looking for from our stay in Darjeeling. The home cooked food was delicious. Just sitting on the terrace with its beautiful valley views feels so peaceful that you won't even feel like going outside! Nalini gave us suggestions for places to visit in and around Darjeeling and they all turned out to be great. Uddhav also took us to a day trip to Mirik and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. We had a yoga class in the morning and Nalini provided us with a Yoga mat as well, which we were not expecting at all! We met as strangers and left as friends. A big thank you to Nalini, Uddhav and their family for hosting us. We'd highly recommend this place.

Initially, our plan to stay in Tapovan was short but with the utmost guidance, smiling faces, tasty home made food and awesome hospitality Nalini and Uddhav made our stay a remarkable experience. Imagine going to an unknown city but still able to enjoy freshly home cooked food like Nepali Thali, Dal Makhani, chole bhature etc. Nalini also helped with really good suggestions for sightseeing and places near Darjeeling which indeed were just as she described. Uddhav also took us to pleasant one day trip as per their suggestion and needless to say it was an amazing experience and then of course coming back to home cooked soulful food. Of course we extended our stay there and had checked out with the promise to definitely come back to them whenever we are here in Darjeeling. Thanks for making the trip wonderful, Nalini and Uddhav.

Visited darjeeling for 3 days and stayed in Tapovan Homestay. Host, Nanilini made us feel at home with homemade food, amazing conversations and also helped with evrything needed. If somebody is a young traveller with no joint issues, Tapovan homestay is a good choice for amazing views of the darjeeling! 👍

We recently stayed at tapovan for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The highlights of my stay was the incredible hospitality of the hosts especially Nalini and the delicious homemade meals.The hosts had excellent local knowledge and accompanied us to explore in and around darjeeling.My kids really enjoyed staying, playing guitar and the friendly nature of the hosts. I would highly recommend to give a try for staying in tapovan and looking forward to revisit and cherish the old moments.Thanks for making our stay a memorable one.

It is good place to stay with friends and family and u also get home made food which is soo yummy and tasty and the view is also good ad beautiful ❤️

Stay was good Food was better Host were perfect

This is my first ever home stay experience and to be honest I was not sure if I should go for it!!!! But Nalini our host complete changed my mind!!! I had an incredible stay at this cozy homestay in Darjeeling. The place was immaculate and exuded warmth and charm, making it a perfect retreat. The stunning views of the mountains were simply breathtaking and added to the overall experience. Nalini, our host, was outstanding—she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Her hospitality truly made a difference. She also guided us and recommended us few places in Darjeeling. Her being a local there made our trip so much better!!! I highly recommend this homestay for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Darjeeling!
