Hosted by a retired, highly decorated Indian Army soldier and his wife, Krisha farmstay provides an amazing stay experience. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable. The scenery from the rooms are stunning, and the food was great. Not only did we get a full tour of their home and farm, but also a great insight into the long service life of a veteran, filled with great stories. Very highly recommended for a few days of calm and peace.

I recently stayed at Krisha Homestay in Lamahatta for two nights, and the experience was absolutely brilliant. The property offers breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga, which makes mornings there truly magical. The homestay is surrounded by lush orange gardens and beautiful greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The home-cooked meals were delicious, prepared with fresh organic vegetables, which made the food feel wholesome and special. A special mention to Neil Ghosh, who is a wonderful host. He is extremely warm, attentive, and ensures every guest feels at home. His hospitality truly elevates the entire experience. If you're lucky, you might even spot deer around the property, which adds to the charm of staying so close to nature. If you're looking for a quiet, scenic stay in Lamahatta with genuine hospitality, Krisha Homestay is a place I would highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting again.

A Hidden Gem in the Lap of the Himalayas — Absolutely Unforgettable! If you're looking for a place that effortlessly blends raw Himalayan beauty with heartfelt hospitality, Uncharted Retreats Krisha Farmstay in North Bengal is simply unmatched. From the moment we arrived, the views left us speechless. Rolling tea gardens, mist-covered mountains, and the gentle hum of the hills — it felt less like checking into a stay and more like coming home to nature. The rooms are cosy, clean, and thoughtfully appointed, with balconies that offered some of the most soul-stirring Himalayan vistas we've ever woken up to. What truly sets Krisha Farmstay apart is the warmth of the hosts. They go above and beyond — not as a formality, but because it genuinely comes from the heart. Every meal was a delight: fresh, local, home-cooked food that tasted like it was made with stories passed down through generations. The wood-fire evenings, the birdsong mornings, the guided walks through the trails — every detail was curated with love and authenticity. This isn't your typical tourist property. It's a place built by people who left the corporate world behind to share something truly special — the unspoiled beauty of North Bengal and the spirit of real, unfiltered travel. You can feel that passion in every corner of this property.
