Our stay was truly amazing and honestly much better than we expected. The owner, Animesh, is a very warm and friendly person who made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, and he even suggested some local dishes which were really good. He also took us to nearby falls and encouraged us to go for a trek. The best part was that he came along with us, which made the whole experience more special and enjoyable. We stayed only for one day, but this is the kind of place where you should stay at least two nights to properly enjoy the beauty and peaceful environment. The view was beautiful, and the overall experience was memorable. Highly recommended if you want a calm and refreshing getaway.

We visited the place around march 2026 . The place was very nice .specially the host animesh da was too good as a host. Location was really breathtaking. Extra points for food cooked daily in the kitchen, very simple yet too tasty. Animesh da took us to the minarel spring, it was a small treak. We literally cooked Maggie there 😅 last but not the least I became fan of the momo didi made 🥰......loved it 🤩

Very recently we travelled North Bengal offbeat of hill areas. We spent few days at chahana home stay at dawaipani. Our experiences too glad and satisfied too. The homestay is wonderfully located at Mineral Spring Village, with beautiful, unrestricted views of Darjeeling mountain and Kachenjunga. There is a scenic waterfall after a brief trekking that was the highlight of our trip. The food and hospitality is great with home made food that is tasty and equally healthy. Ask for the special Nepali Raisaag and squash momos. The evening barbeque is worth the try in the cold weather. The host Animesh is very friendly and has good knowledge of the area and trekking within the woods. One piece of advice is to use local cab drivers (arranged by the hosts) as the drive from Lebong to Mineral spring village is quite steep and challenging. All in all had a great experience with family at the queen of the hills.

Have a pleasant place to visit atleast once.. We stayed over here for one Night. Awesome experience with great pleasant View of Kanchanjunga from Room. The behaviour & services all over there are really great.. At last I must have to say one thing that all of this is possible only for Animesh Da. Our stay at Chahaan Homestay, Lebong was truly memorable. The place is peaceful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food feels like home. A special thanks to Mr. Animesh, the wonderful owner, who went out of his way to make our trip smooth – he even sent a driver to bring our car up the hills and personally ensured we were well taken care of. He served us delicious halal meat and arranged fresh fish for dinner, which made the experience even more special. Warm hospitality, scenic surroundings, and genuine care – this homestay is a gem. Highly recommended!
