An absolutely wonderful stay! The homestay was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt just like a home away from home. The host was incredibly warm, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The location was peaceful yet convenient, and every little detail showed how much care was put into the place. We felt comfortable, relaxed, and truly welcomed throughout our stay. We chose Lopchu Farmstay for our offbeat Darjeeling itinerary and it was the best decision. The hosts (Dada and Boudi) are incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. Every arrangement was perfect, and the home-cooked food was delicious. The surrounding environment is calm and refreshing. 10/10 for hospitality and vibes!

Waking up to a breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga range right from my room was pure magic. Though it was only a one-night stay, the warmth and hospitality of the owners made it feel like home. Between the incredible views and the delicious, generous meals, I’m already counting down the days until I can return!

Wonderful experience. The host was extremely helpful, even personally guiding them on the road to reach the location. Although the homestay is a bit difficult to access due to steep downhill roads, the destination is absolutely worth the effort. The property is a serene farm surrounded by lush greenery, trees, and birds, offering a peaceful natural environment. Rooms are spacious, clean, and come with balconies that provide stunning views. Bathrooms are well-maintained, and the food served is excellent. The hosts are warm and welcoming, even arranging a paid barbecue that was worth the cost. As a thoughtful gesture, since they were the first guests after renovation, the hosts gifted each of them a khada while bidding farewell. Overall, it’s an ideal place for a true, undisturbed getaway and is highly recommended.

The Place is very beautiful and very calm you can enjoy time with your friends and family the services are also very good and they are very polite.

If someone is looking for an offbeat private cottage/homestay near Lamahatta, this is a perfect place to hang out with friends. The cottage is inside the road with zero disturbance from others. They have only three cottages, so we stayed there with 8 friends and booked all the cottages. We stayed there for 2 days. In these two days, no one disturbed us — just we friends and nature. The host is very kind and supportive and cared for us as his own family. One more thing, each cottage has its own balcony, this makes it more beautiful to chat with friends on the balcony with tea in the evening in a quiet, peaceful environment.

perfect location fir peace and calmness

I went there last week with my friends, a group of four. The host is an extremely helpful person and he guided us in reaching the place (he was literally standing on the road for us!). The place is definitely a bit difficult to reach, since we have to go downhill and the roads are very very steep so do keep that in mind. But the place is absolutely worth it! It's a proper farm accompanied by trees and greenery everywhere and birds and everything else you can ask for. The rooms are spacious and clean and has a balcony which offers amazing views. The bathroom are clean as well. The food is amazing and so are the people living there. They even prepared a barbeque for us albeit at an extra charge but it was worth every single rupee. And since we were the first guests after the place opened after renovation, they parted ways with us by giving us a "khada" each. If you're looking for a getaway, a proper getaway where nothing can and will disturb you, this place is for you. You can definitely seriously consider it

If you want to avoid the filthy, noisy and crowded surroundings of Darjeeling, cover a short distance from there to this place. Live close to nature and experience amazing hospitality. We had one of our best stays there. And thanks to the host for packing me their homemade pickle. Avoid coming by your scooty or bike there, as roads are not bike friendly.

Five star is less for the accommodation, food, behavior and the homeliness. Best off bit stay and the owner is a talented person. This is a great place to stay in an awesome environment. I shall visit again. Thanks Kundan.

One of the cheap and best homestays I have ever visited. With best services and hospitality, I recommend people who are planning to visit Darjeeling, to visit and stay here.

We were looking for a calm place in nature where we could simultaneously experience local family life and culture and found the pertect place at Lopchu Eco Homestay. The food was delicious and grown from their own organic garden, and the owners happily showed us all the different flowers and plants that they grow (it’s so lush and green there!!). At a small walking distance you can also see the full Kanchenjunga mountain range while standing in the tea fields. We didn’t want to leave!

The hosts let you in on their lifestyle, chat about local culture, are happy to show all the stuff that grows in their organic garden, and prepare the most delicious food on their homemade fire stove. Would really recommend this to everyone excited about an authentic experience out in the calm countryside of the darjeeling hills!

Great place for family trip. Privacy is assured with just outside the main congested area of Darjeeling. Recommended for group of friends too!!!
