We had an amazing experience for 3 days here.. What you seek in an offbeat darjeeling vacation.. you,ll get everything here... Its quiet yet cheerful.. From a freindly hangout vacation to a romantic holiday.. The homestay is damn perfect.. The rooms are clean, spacious and definetly photo genic.. The service was on point. The foods are delicious , for all the 3 times, and they carry a distinctive and sweet experience , what you seek in offbeat... Go for it.. yes It deserves 5 out of 5

Our stay was truly memorable and exceeded all expectations. The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself was spotlessly clean and the food was a major highlight: authentic, organic, delicious, and healthy. The location is an offbeat, peaceful haven away from the crowds, offering beautiful and serene views with lush greenery. One of our favorite moments was the bonfire at night; paired with great music, watching the Darjeeling city lights glimmer in the distance was a truly amazing and magical experience. While the homestay provides total tranquility, it takes about 45 minutes to reach Darjeeling town. The surrounding area is perfect for nature lovers, with tea gardens just a short walk away. For those wanting to see the majestic Kanchenjunga peaks, a scenic 10-minute walk from the property offers a fantastic viewing spot. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature away from the crowd.

Nice palace

Wooden finish rooms more as like cottage is very nice staycation in a peaceful place far from the chaos of the city. Though Mountain view is not available from the homestay. You have to walk uphill for the views of Kanchenjunga.

The experience was great , the host and his daughter were very polite ,the food and service was great , the ambience and the cleanliness of the homestay was remarkable over all it was a great experience.

This homestay has my heart. It was soo pretty and cozy. The hosts Nimsang and her dad Kushal uncle were very friendly and hospitable. They welcomed us with tea and snacks and set up a bonfire for us. This place has a panoramic view of the city lights of Darjeeling. The food was very comforting and homely. This place lights up in golden lights at night and is so pleasant to see from afar. Would love to visit this place again 💖.

I've to share my wonderful experience in detail.... Starting with the behaviour, guys they're greatttt. They welcomed us so lovingly. So well behaved and loving. Kushal uncle and his daughter Nimsang never let us feel that we're tourists staying in their homestay. Their behaviour was so warm and gentle. This was our first trip to Darjeeling and they helped us a lot with their guidance.While staying at Risheehat you can visit Risheehat tea estate and the garden also, and can stroll around. And one of the noteworthy point is that Kanchenjunga is clearly visible from Rishihaat tea estate 😀 Secondly, the rooms are so cozy and comfortable and spacious too, a group can easily stay in one cottage. You can enjoy warm Darjeeling tea in the morn provided by the homestay along with the view of Darjeeling city. The evening view is also pretty, the Darjeeling town looks like starry night. Can enjoy bonfire in the evening. They've the arrangements for extra bedding also and they even have tents for camping. They serve homemade awesome and delicious food. Their cook has some magic ✨ in his hands. Thirdly, the distance from the main city is about 45mins. They even have their own transport facility so you don't have to search for another one. The homestay provided each one of us with a packet of Darjeeling tea as a souvenir, and Kushal Uncle even gifted me a Succulent and a Poinsettia plant on my request. To everyone who's heading I would like to request to visit this homestay if you want to stay away from daily hustle bustle. You'll get to experience the real Serene Beauty in this homestay. Lastly, Padma Homestay you have my heart ❤️ What more can I say? I'm in short of words to express my experience. Loved it. Must visit!!!❤️❤️

Padma Homestay, perched atop the serene Risheehat in Darjeeling, is a true hidden gem. Run by the warm-hearted Kushal Ji and his lovely daughters Lasen and Nimsang, the place feels less like a stay and more like home. Their hospitality doubles the charm of the already mesmerizing hilltop location. From the balcony, the clear views of the mountains and rolling hills are simply breathtaking. What touched us most was their reluctance to raise the final bill—treating us not as guests but as family. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and heartfelt connections, Padma Homestay is the perfect escape.

We recently stayed at Padma Homestay when we visited the Darjeeling and had a truly memorable experience! From the moment i booked it and had the conversation with Nimsung and uncle ji , they warmly greeted me & my family and friends. This time it was a mixed group with me from 10 months old baby to my 62 years old father but we dint felt like we are away from home bcoz of Lasang and Nimsung who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. And i should really mention about the scenic view, the whole sunrise in the morning to seeing the moon with extra bonus view of full dazzling Darjeeling in the night with all the beautiful lights and we especially enjoyed the cozy reading nook overlooking the garden uncle ji has created. The homemade breakfast was a highlight – Lasang and Nimsung prepared us so fresh, healthy and delicious food! That will be the only concern you will have when yu have infant and old parents along with you. Would like to also mention and appreciate the Lasang and Nimsung singing and bona-fire with bbq s for dinner, what else yu need it for perfect vacation with your family. I would say our stay at Padma Homestay was a perfect blend of love, comfort, hospitality, convenience and i can now call it as my next native. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly authentic and enjoyable stay!" Great service is appreciated, but excellent service deserves to be celebrated.

Very good stay it was. Nimsang the host is so friendly, she took care of everything possible under her purview. I do insist to you to come and live in the nature's serenity.

Padma Home stay is really very beautiful, we are staying for 3 days with my friends, facilities of everything are available, you will also get homemade food which is very tasty, the place is very neat and clean and when you go to the balcony of the room on the 1st day the view you will see will be different in its peace, I liked it a lot, I will suggest you to everyone, go for a trip and give peace to your heart and mind,
