I recently visited this homestay in the Himalayas and had a wonderful experience. The breathtaking panoramic views were matched by the warmth and hospitality of Sujata and Manisha, who made me feel as though I had never left home. Their personal care and attention to detail truly set this place apart. The food was awesome, homely, and prepared with great care, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. If you’re looking for a personalized, authentic, and budget-friendly homestay experience near Darjeeling, look no further. A perfect 10/10 from me!

## ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Slice of Himalayan Heaven: Namo Homestay, Ghum If you are looking for the perfect mountain escape in Darjeeling, **Namo Homestay in Ghum** is an absolute hidden gem. I stayed here from December 5th to 7th, and it was an unforgettable experience. ### Why You Should Book Your Stay Here: Breathtaking Views: Wake up to the most spectacular views of the snow-capped Himalayas. The golden sunrise hitting the peaks (as seen in my photos!) is something you usually only see on postcards. The Ultimate Winter Vibe: With temperatures dropping to a crisp **4°C at night**, there is nothing better than gathering around a **crackling bonfire**. The hosts make sure you are warm, cozy, and well-fed. Authentic Hospitality: From the colourful prayer flags fluttering in the breeze to the peaceful, green surroundings, the atmosphere here is incredibly soul-soothing. It feels like a home away from home, not just a place to sleep. Perfect Location: Being in Ghum allows you to enjoy the peace of the mountains away from the main town's hustle, while still being close enough to explore Darjeeling’s top attractions. **Pro Tip: Pack your heavy woolens for the chilly nights, and make sure your camera is charged—you won’t be able to stop taking photos of the mountain range! I left Namo Homestay feeling refreshed and inspired. If you want peace, warmth, and the best views in North Bengal, this is the place to be. 🏔️🔥✨

Just a few kilometers from Ghoom station, this homestay offers stunning views of the Kanchenjunga range on clear days. Located at the edge of a mountain, the front-facing room balconies provide a very soothing experience. There are no rooftops of nearby buildings or clotheslines in sight; instead, you are treated to an uninterrupted landscape of dense forests and majestic mountains. Every morning, we would go up to the terrace to enjoy the first rays of the sun and get a clearer view of Kanchenjunga. I would highly recommend having your morning tea on the terrace while enjoying the breathtaking view and the cool mountain breeze. We were a group of two families ( 4 adults and 2 kids) staying there from 25th December to 30th December. A bonfire was arranged every evening, allowing us to enjoy the chilly weather (around 2°C to 4°C) while sipping tea (which was excellent!) and having snacks around the warmth of the fire. Breakfast was different every day during our stay and was consistently delicious. Dinner was served hot, and menu preferences could be discussed in advance, provided sufficient preparation time was given. Sujata and her assistant took great care of us and always greeted us with warm smiles. Sujata also prepares a special chili achar and makes beautiful bags, which are displayed at the homestay and worth checking out. The owners were very cordial, patiently listened to our needs, and helped us whenever possible. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay—the mesmerizing views of Kanchenjunga, the delicious food, the warm hospitality, and most importantly, the experience of staying amidst nature, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We would definitely love to visit again.

The hospitality and ambience are extremely good. The food is absolutely delicious. Excellent view from this homestay. From every room you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Kanchenjunga. The atmosphere is really calm and quiet. Moreover you could able to see deers coming and having from the nearby jungle, which is a rare sight compare to any other homestay. I would recommend everyone to opt for this homestay. One more thing to add...owner of the homestay is very much reachable and co operative. Thanks

Namo Home Stay, home away from home. If you are looking for a peaceful, happy and an amazingly clean and homely atmosphere, then Namo Homestay should be your choice. Just KMs away from the center of Darjeeling and yet so away from crowd and huulla gulla. Lovely Tasty Food, fantabulous Host and the best and most important part is their economical and pocket friendly packages.
