Wonderful stay at Sampriti Gharbas! The location is absolutely beautiful—surrounded by pine trees with a stunning, clear view of Kanchenjungha. The hospitality was excellent, and the food was delicious. Our vacation felt truly refreshing in the lap of nature. We also used their car service, and the uncle who drove us was extremely well-behaved and helpful. The overall homely atmosphere made the stay even more special. I will definitely recommend Sampriti Gharbas to my friends and look forward to bringing my family along on my next visit!

Sampriti Gharbas is located just amidst the pine forest in Lamahatta. The surrounding is very peaceful, one can hear the sounds of the insects/birds nestled in the nearby forest. The hosts are very welcoming. We really enjoyed the freshly cooked food which was very tasty. A short walk to the nearby tea garden gave us a 360 view of the mountains which was mesmerising. One can travel with an infant easily without any trouble of cooking since they take full responsibility of cooking the meals for the baby as well, at a very minimal charge. Looking forward to visiting again. Keep up the good work.

A perfect mountain retreat! Sampriti Gharbas is a hidden gem nestled among tall pine trees in Lamahatta. The location is absolutely stunning — serene, peaceful, and offering a postcard-perfect view of Kanchenjunga. You can sip a hot cup of tea while relaxing on a hammock swing chair, soaking in the mountainscape — it’s truly magical. The homestay has a beautiful little swimming pool and is just a short walk from a scenic viewpoint surrounded by tea plantations. What made our stay even more special was their lovely dog, Sweety, who was our cheerful companion throughout. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the hospitality was warm and genuine, and the entire place had a very homely, welcoming vibe. I gave 5/5 for rooms, service, and location — and it’s well deserved. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in the lap of nature!

This was my third visit to Sampriti Gharbas in Lamahatta, Darjeeling, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. Garba & Selina are naturals when it comes to hosting, full of warmth, energy, and some serious cooking skills. What amazes me is how they manage to host each time with the same enthusiasm as if it’s their first guest. This time, I brought my entire family along, and they were just as taken in by the place as I was. Waking up to views of Kanchanjunga never gets old, and our walks through the nearby tea gardens were just what we needed to slow down and reconnect. One of the unexpected highlights was the swimming pool tucked in the middle of a pine forest, overlooking the mountains. It had just been cleaned and was still refilling, but when the water reached around 2 feet, I couldn’t stop myself, I jumped right in. Even half-full, it was an experience I won’t forget. And then there's Kaka, what a voice! His singing was so good it felt like a cassette was playing. He also handled the bonfire and barbecue like a pro, making our evenings even more memorable. Special mention to Phupa, who was always one step ahead, helping out, checking in, and making sure we had everything, without us even needing to ask. Honestly, it’s hard to describe the feeling you get here. It’s not just the location (which is stunning), it’s the people. 10/10, again. And yes, I’ll definitely be back.

Seelina ang Garba went the extra mile to make our stay memorable, with a fun karaoke night, delicious barbecue, and a cozy bonfire under the stars. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!"

Sampriti Gharbas is located in amazingly beautiful place amid the pine forest. In front of this homestay there is beautiful small valley surrounded by tea gardens. And what a view of kanchenjunga... The hospitality of both the owners are beyond words and they made us feel soo comfortable. The foods were really amazing. And whatever we needed, it was provided instantly. Thank you for everything.. This is a very good homestay and the location is also very good, the food is like a perfect home food, I would recommend everyone to visit it once.

Very good location, filled with peace and serenity. Early morning, in clear weather we enjoyed the Kanchanjunga view from the room. The 3 days stay with our kids was awesome. Place is recommended for all.
