Had a wonderful and memorable stay at this beautiful homestay! The biggest highlight of our experience was Nilu Di, who is truly the best host—so warm, caring, welcoming, and always ready to make you feel at home. ❤️ The authentic homemade food was absolutely delicious and one of the best parts of our stay. Every meal felt fresh, traditional, and made with love. 😋 The surrounding natural beauty and peaceful environment made the stay even more special. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and take a break from the busy city life. Thank you, Nilu Di, for your incredible hospitality and for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stay, authentic food, beautiful nature, and a truly homely experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently sent my mother alone to stay at Hamro Ghar Homestay, and I must say, the experience was absolutely wonderful and completely stress-free for us. The owner of Hamro Ghar is an extremely kind and humble person, and his wife, Nilu Aunty, is truly warm and caring. They made my mother feel completely at home from the very beginning. Their hospitality goes beyond expectations — it genuinely feels like staying with family. The homestay is very clean and well-maintained. Both the rooms and bathrooms are neat, tidy, and comfortable. Hygiene is clearly a top priority here, which gave us great peace of mind. The food is simple, homely, and delicious. A special mention for the momos — they were absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of the stay! The scenic beauty around Hamro Ghar is breathtaking. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The hosts also guide you very well regarding nearby places to visit and even help arrange transportation, which makes exploring extremely convenient. What touched me the most was how caring and responsible they were. Since my mother was traveling alone, they regularly kept us updated and reassured us not to worry. That level of care is rare and truly appreciated. Overall, Hamro Ghar Homestay offers not just a stay, but a heartfelt experience. It’s safe, welcoming, and feels just like your own home. Highly recommended — definitely a 5-star experience! THANK YOU UNCLE AND AUNTY

It was a great experience at Hamro Ghar Farmstay for us. We spent two nights on 14 & 15 Dec'25. Room was clean , cozy, washroom too was clean with Geyser. Food was simple and tasty grown organically by the host. View of Kanchenjunga from the room was magnificent. But the best part was spending evening time with host Mr.Nawal Gurung and his wife drinking tea and singing. Cute cats and dogs were bonus.

The homestay was really terrible. There were mosquitoes and all sorts of bugs inside the room, and the room wasn’t clean at all. The food was also awful—what you order is not what you get, and it’s overpriced. For example, a simple egg curry with rice costs 250 rupees. Everything was overpriced, and it was a very bad experience overall—not good at all, and the room was terrible. In short, the overall experience was really bad. Add to that, the road to get there was also terrible—it was very slippery, and there was a high chance of falling, especially for older individuals or those who are heavier. The road was rough and uneven, and even Google Maps didn’t help much in navigating it properly.
