It's a beautiful Homestay at Mungpoo which comes under Darjeeling District of West Bengal. It's just 6km uphill from the NJP Gangtok NH10. The road condition was premium and we drove quite comfortably at night. The owner Mr. Soloman is a talented singer and a bike enthusiast, he do runs a biker club (bikers den) and do cook really fantastic. Mungpoo is a scenic hill station widely known for its cinchona plantations, beautiful orange orchards, and the historic Rabindra Bhavan Museum, where Rabindranath Tagore once resided. They do have a huge parking in their backyard.

Me and my wife just returned from this homestay after spending two Days And I must say the rooms and bathroom are very clean... The Food quality and quantity are very good... so much affordable... Must visit... And specially the behaviour of the owner is very polite and good 💯

Excellent place for Bike Rider and the owner of the homestay is an excellent 👌 man.

I stayed at Quinine Homestay, Mangpoo, after my car broke down on the way to Dawaipani from the plains. The owner is a wonderful person — cheerful, friendly, and an excellent singer. He even arranged a karaoke evening for the guests, which made the stay memorable. The food was fresh and delicious, and the view from the terrace was simply fantastic.

Most beautiful place to stay. Location is awesome looks like windows are opening to heaven.

Good and beautiful place to visit.

I went there and try their Thukpa, and it was incredibly tasty! The owners—both of them—are very sweet, helpful, and genuinely nice people. I haven't stayed there, but from what I’ve seen, their lodging also seems quite good.

A nice homestay in Mangpu village just beside the main road, one can have excellent views of the Sittong valley from the rooms and also the terrace; the owner Mr. Solomon is very warm and friendly and makes great food as well. The rooms are slightly small in size though but the hospitality is undoubtedly topnotch.

Hotel owner is very humble and always in jovial mood cooking is also satisfactory. Beautiful and calm environment.sideview is awesome.🙃😶😊

Nestled amidst lush greenery with breathtaking mountain views, this homestay felt like a home away from home. The warm hospitality of the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the food was absolutely delicious.

A beautiful and calm homestay with a splendid view of the mountains and river. Myself and my colleague stayed for 3 days and received great help from the owner, Solomon Bhaiya with our travel to other destinations and also our work. The food was equally good and a big thanks to the staff at the homestay, Aneesha ji, Sajan ji and Arpan bhaiya. Overall, I enjoyed the ambience and would surely recommend this homestay at Mungpoo.

Simply wonderful, the proprietor Mr. Solomon, made us very welcome and comfortable,and he made sure everything was just perfect. The breathtaking view of the Sittong Valley, clouds floating by, and the majestic Himalayan scenes, the greenery, so peaceful and relaxing. The food was awesome, especially the momos.❤️‍🩹
